🇺🇸 Debt Slavery: The Inevitable Collapse of American Hegemony

As Washington entertains the extension of the 2017 tax cuts in the face of spiraling deficits, the U.S. teeters on the edge of a fiscal abyss. With the national debt already surpassing $34 trillion and the Congressional Budget Office projecting the federal debt-to-GDP ratio to soar to a staggering 172% by 2054, surpassing even the dire levels of World War II, America's march toward fiscal Armageddon is not just imprudent - t’s an act of outright betrayal against its own citizens. This reckless financial course locks future generations into a relentless cycle of debt slavery, a grim legacy of economic mismanagement and corruption.

Meanwhile, the relentless pursuit of 'forever wars' has drained trillions from the U.S. treasury, achieving nothing but global disdain and an obliterated reputation. Millions dead in "collateral damage" serve as a brutal testament to the human cost of these failed 'interventions'. Each failed military escapade deepens the quagmire, leaving the U.S. with a litany of geopolitical failures and a populace burdened by a suffocating debt load.

This fiscal recklessness showcases a stark reality: the U.S., once a symbol of economic strength, now parades its vulnerabilities openly, a hegemon weakened by its own elite’s short-sighted greed and disastrous policies. As the empire crumbles, it offers a stark warning - the ‘cost’ of unchecked arrogance and military overreach inevitably lead to downfall, leaving nothing but the ashes of a once-great power.

Here is the second part of the story of Norris Green which chronicles the slow collapse of the social housing structure, alongside those cheaply built prefab, pre-war, homes. The myriad of new style private enterprise "housing associations" taking the mantle, and the profits, of running estates such as those in Norris Green, Liverpool.

He sold our gold and wrote the cheques which paid for the imperialist slaughters in Kosovo, Afghanistan and Iraq. If Brown is Bacon’s idea of a thoroughly decent person, I’d hate to see what his idea of a complete bastard is.

Amidst the approaching elections, the recurring pattern of Labour's deceptive pledges and their persistent attribution of every societal challenge to the Tories prompts us to reshare this article.

Why We Attack The Labour Party – Class Consciousness Project

Let us face the facts, comrades, the education of the masses is a large and strenuous task, but there can be no communism until the masses desire Communism and act Communism. We cannot take part in the work of education till we are ourselves deeply imbued with the Communist ideal and unless our thoughts and our desires are constantly turning towards it.

King Charles' portrait has created some serious questions about how uncomfortable it is to look at.

It wasn't too long ago we were discussing his mortality after a cancer scare, now the conversation is about this portrait.

How many wars have started, and how many people have died, due to the privatisation of the military? The great American capitalist machine has become so corrupted by the pursuit of profit that even genocide has become a profitable venture.

What would happen if Venezuela arrested thousands of students and raided their campuses? President Maduro points out the hypocrisy of international organizations that supposedly promote human rights but are now silent in the face of repression carried out by Western governments against their own populations that are protesting for Palestine.

The Tories fantasies about the trade unions being led by modern day Arthur Scargill's would be amusing were it not so tragically far away from the truth. In reality the bulk of the trade union leaders collaborate with the Tories with leaders like Scargill and the late Bob Crow standing out precisely because they did not.

Egotism has no place in communist organising. What you have done is only important in terms of how you have connected with the masses, how you have brought workers towards scientific socialism and how you have built up a Communist Party as a disciplined, militant workers organisation. Our individual contributions are not part of a CV or reputation building exercise. We rely on the work of our comrades who came before us, those who struggle with us in the same cause today and those who may be unknown to the class but whose contribution makes our work possible. Pride in our work is important but it is never about us as individuals nor should we ever make it so. Bourgeois egotism is the enemy of communist discipline and we should work to remove it from out individual psychology. Take pride in your work as an expression of the collective effort, known that you did your work well but that your work was dependent upon the actions of many other comrades. That is the way to avoid a collapse into petty outbursts of vanity which most workers will be repelled by.

It may be true that all this theatre about 'will they won't they' send Nato troops to Ukraine is just a cover for the fact that the decision has already been taken. But if that is true, I'm not convinced it means automatic nuclear armageddon.

Judging from how the war has played out so far, it seems more likely to me (speaking as a non-military observer), that, as was the case with the tanks, long-range weapons and fighter jets the Nato countries were also NOT going to send (allegedly out of a desire not to escalate the war into a direct confrontation), any troops that arrive in Ukraine from other Nato members (most likely more disposable east Europeans or other foreign forces like the French foreign legion or Britain's Gurkhas) will be destroyed as they get there, having little or no chance to impact the battlefield.

What the lunatics in Brussels, Washington, Paris, Berlin and London cook up after that in their desperate quest to keep the show on the road is anyone's guess. Whatever they try though, it's clear to anyone with eyes they can only postpone the end-by date so far.

The war is lost. They just can'e bear to face up to what that means.
