Recent reading in the Liverpool echo has discussed the issue of "youth gangs" terrorising the city centre. Their only idea of solving this issue is a dispersal order. A dispersal order is a police power used under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. It allows officers to move people on from a public area if they believe their presence is likely to lead to harassment, alarm, or distress, or if they simply suspect the group might cause trouble. They can ban someone from returning to that area for up to 48 hours, without needing to prove any crime was committed.

These youth gangs are mostly made up of disenfranchised working class kids. They use this order against teenagers hanging about outside shops, parks, or bus stops. Branded as “gangs” or “antisocial”, they’re targeted not for what they’ve done, but for who they are and where they are. It’s social control, criminalising poverty and boredom.

These orders don’t solve anything. They only push young people elsewhere, displacing the issue rather than dealing with the cause. The real roots lie in a society that offers them no role, no respect, no future. Schools are regimented and joyless. Youth clubs are non-existent. Local spaces are privatised or policed. There's no ownership, no purpose, and no hope. Capitalism creates the conditions for alienation, then punishes those who act it out.

The last game Everton Football Club will play at Goodison Park. A stadium steeped in history. A major part of the English game. It will be missed by all of football.

Here's a quote from our comrade Lee. Spoken like a true football fan

The old old grand old lady is gone forever. Now we move to a giant toilet seat on the docks, but we've still got the memories. All that history, the people, mere green , St dominos, the holy trinity, Bob Latchford,  gray , sharo , Sheedy, Reid, Stevens, Southall ect...dogs of war in the 90s.

Gwladys Street humming of pot, fans limbs, weird old place, but not a mobile phone in sight just fans being horrible, euphoric or full of song.

I'm going to miss Goodison Park.

It’s good to see some resistance, but let’s not forget, Liverpool still has a Labour council. Whether Starmer turns up or not is irrelevant. His lackeys are already here, dutifully implementing brutal cuts to keep the imperialist war machine fed.

Starmer is a reactionary, the states man, but the rot goes deeper. Every single Labour MP, councillor and party member is complicit. Labour is a vital instrument of British capitalism. It functions to pacify working-class anger, channel it safely into reformism, and keep the system intact.

It doesn’t matter if you claim socialist values, raise your fist at conference, or sign petitions to parliament. If you're still inside Labour, you're helping to legitimise the enemy of the working class. You're complicit. End of conversation.

Even Fidel Castro loved the beautiful game.

The Famous Anfield.
Congratulations to Spurs on winning the Europa League and, against the odds, booking their place in next season’s Champions League. It’s a big moment for the club, especially given how inconsistent their league form has been this season. This is their first piece of silverware since 2008, and lifting a European trophy is no small feat. A long wait for success, but a night their fans won’t forget.

Anti Imperialist Action Ireland proudly remember Tyrone Republican, Vol. Seán McCaughey, OC of the IRA's Northern Command and later Chief of Staff of the IRA who gave his life on Hungerstrike while in Portlaoise Prison on this day in 1946, fighting Free State Counter Revolution.

Look at this list of derisory pay ‘awards’ in the public sector. Who is there who believes such ‘raises’ will bring the workers concerned anywhere close to keeping up with what inflation is doing to their pay???

As one of my nursing comrades put it: “My colleagues have got used to getting paid pennies for work most people wouldn’t want to do despite having skills many people don’t possess.”

As ever, the real question is: WHERE ARE THE TRADE UNIONS??

‘Toxic masculinity’ is a nonsense term. It doesn’t describe a class. It doesn’t describe a system. It describes a vague set of behaviours supposedly unique to men, divorced entirely from the economic conditions that produce those behaviours.

It is the liberal’s comfort blanket: a way to talk about violence, anger and alienation without ever mentioning the capitalist system.

The working class hates what passes as the 'left'; woke, green, opportunist, reformist, chauvinist, trot, apologists for imperialism. Communism has to constantly distance itself from leftism, we are not leftists! We are genuine anti Imperialists, scientific socialists, communists!
