Finland joining the ranks of the supposedly 'defensive' NATO may seem to have come out of the blue, but are we really surprised?

NATO's creation was to strengthen European capitalism against the perceived Soviet threat. The first Secretary General famously saying of its creation was to "keep the Soviet Union out, the Americans in, and the Germans down".

Now, as western conflict with Russia and China resumes and Nazism is regurgitated in the Ukrainian conflict, it's important we understand the history of NATO, the EU and the European countries that support this.

To the leaderships of all the Labour-affiliated trade unions:

THIS is what you misappropriate your own members’ money to pay for.

THIS is what you ALL tacitly support through that misappropriation.

THIS is on you all.

Here's the leader of the Labour Party showing you exactly who he and his party are, yet again. Starmer is the rule here, not the exception, all the leaders of the "party of labour" have been like this and will continue to be greedy, grasping, self interested buffoons who live to serve the capitalist class and get richly rewarded for it. The question is, why are we being asked to foot the bill via our trade union political funds? We are we paying for the running costs of a party that has never backed a strike in over 100 years? We must raise a mass call for disaffiliation in every union which pays into the Labour Party as a matter of urgency.

#Taiwan 🇹🇼 | The arrival of US troops in Taiwan for training is just another example of the US initiating proxy wars to maintain its sham hegemony. With China in its crosshairs, the US is using a flimsy excuse to flex its military might to push its own agenda.

'We make bread not profits' - when Irish workers took on an empire.

The Limerick Soviet, established on 15 April 1919, remains an important part of Irish and labour history.

Here’s something I wrote for the centenary four years ago…

This is a motion from the agenda of British trade union PCS’s Annual Delegate Conference. This is what happens when trade unions become dominated by petty bourgeois lunatics.

A nice clear expression of the class war from the Bank of England's chief 'economist':

'Workers should stop trying to resist us when we pass the burden of the economic crisis onto them. Don't these selfish fools understand that our profits are paramount? After all, what's a hungry child more or less in this world ..?'

Sinn Fein bend the knee for King Charles and of course all the petit bourgeois morons praise o'neill for being "serious". SF have finally become a wholly reliable party of imperialism and so will be allowed to manage "his majesties government" in occupied Ireland.

Understanding Scottish nationalism and it's dead end for socialism is another important lesson for British workers.
This podcast by our comrade is fantastic at doing just that.

This is an interesting insight into Chomsky’s support for intervention in Libya and the same economic sanctions on Iraq that killed 1.5 million, including 500k children, something Madeleine Albright infamously described as “a price worth paying.”
