"To belittle the socialist ideology in any way, to turn aside from it in the slightest degree means to strengthen bourgeois ideology. There is much talk of spontaneity. But the spontaneous development of the working-class movement leads to its subordination to bourgeois ideology; for the spontaneous working-class movement is trade-unionism, and trade unionism means the ideological enslavement of the workers by the bourgeoisie. Hence, our task, the task of Social-Democracy, is to combat spontaneity, to divert the working-class movement from this spontaneous, trade-unionist striving to come under the wing of the bourgeoisie, and to bring it under the wing of revolutionary Social Democracy."

TUC launches fake ‘campaign to defend the right to strike’
A campaign most workers are unaware of, aimed not at overturning anti-worker legislation but at garnering votes for the perfidious Labour party.

A fire has started in partially built building in Everton, Liverpool.
Another of Liverpool Labours dodgy contracts that was never followed through.
This building has been left dormant since the company that "won" the contract went busy. Many locals have pursued the council over this with fire safety warnings being continuously passed to Liverpool Labour, but you can't obtain profits from rectifying an empty building.
Liverpool Labour is destroying this city with cheaply built buildings, allowing our heritage to rot and never once investing in the areas of local workers.

Local people are at risk by this blaze now.
This isn't a situation in Liverpool alone. Many Labour councils across the North have used cities as a place to profit from as they implement Tory cuts.
Essentially these party names don't matter when simply British capitalism.
The workers will be given enough to live on and everything else they receive will only be because of the ability for the ruling class to profit from. So a building with no purpose will not receive the attention it needs no matter what risks there are to the local population.
Homes evacuated and smoke seen for miles after huge fire

A family with two children living (or trying to live) in the Greater Manchester area now will face costs of at least £35K a year and that's just living expenses not country rent or mortgage payments. It is estimate that even a single person will have costs of around £9.6K before rent or mortgage payments are made. The average wage in the Greater Manchester is £36K a year and that is statistically skewed by the higher end earners. Even if we take that as a baseline figure then even a small family is going to need to have both parents working full time just to make ends meet. What used to be a more affordable place to live for families is becoming more unaffordable with every passing year as the (labour party run) council and Mayoralty build more more "luxury" housing and working class residents are pushed further and further out of the city limits.

🇬🇧THE UK LOANS GHANA ITS OWN STOLEN ARTIFACTS🇬🇭
The UK is returning a set of gold artifacts to Ghana, a century and a half after they were unlawfully taken from a king in the West African nation during the 19th century. the British Museum and V&A said the items would only be loaned to the Ghanaian palace under two separate three-year contracts.
Museums in the UK are under increasing pressure to repatriate items taken during the colonial era to their countries of origin. Both Ethiopia, Nigeria, and even Greece have requested the return of ceremonial artifacts looted by Britain. In July of last year, Oxford University proposed compensation to Maasai families in Kenya and Tanzania, offering 196 cows as restitution for artifacts that were stolen and taken to the UK over a century ago.

🇬🇧Anglican Church Takes Stand Against Shell and BP
The Church Pensions Board in the UK has announced its intention to divest from oil and gas assets, targeting major consumers of fossil fuels such as airlines, utilities, steel companies, and banks involved in fossil fuel development.
Managing approximately £3.2 billion ($4.1 billion), the Church of England disclosed plans to sell its stake in Shell, signaling a complete departure from the oil and gas sector. This decision aligns with the Church's ongoing efforts to promote decarbonization in accordance with the Paris Agreement's objectives. Additionally, the investment fund's board has recently offloaded shares in BP and at least nine other oil companies.
This strategic shift follows a period of reassessment, prompting the Church to exit the oil industry after five years of engagement and negotiation regarding energy transition.
Looking ahead, Volkswagen, Renault, National Grid, BMW, Toyota Motor, and Mercedes-Benz Group are slated to be the next targets for divestment by the Church. This divestment extends beyond the automotive sector, encompassing utility providers, steel manufacturers, and financial institutions. The Church's Pensions Board emphasized that banks still have a considerable distance to traverse in aiding the world's journey toward achieving zero emissions.
