The advent of the premier league, every single club 1st division club resigning from the national league to start the new shiny league, has been a succession of decisions that have been designed to consolidate the cash flow. Creating this immobile group of teams in British football to rule over all.

This is essentially just monopoly capitalism at a football level. These clubs are nothing but corporations acting as capitalists do in an attempt to corner the market in which they profit from.

🇬🇧🇷🇺UK Continues to Import Gas from Russia Despite Claims of Market Removal

Despite recent claims of "taking Russia out of the market," the United Kingdom maintains its intake of gas from Russia. The UK government has sealed an £8 billion energy agreement with TotalEnergies, a company that imports Russian gas into Europe.

According to Politico, UK hospitals, town halls, and government departments will benefit from heating sourced from this deal with TotalEnergies, which imports liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia.

This development follows closely on the heels of statements by the British cabinet asserting the removal of Russia from their market. However, TotalEnergies affirms its ongoing supply of Russian LNG to Europe, citing contractual obligations that cannot be unilaterally terminated.

Despite assurances from a UK government spokesperson about the sourcing of gas through domestic channels, Izvestia reports skepticism regarding the presence of Russian gas in the supply chain.
