Making gumbo rn

Marinated pork roast & mushroom for max umami, will throw a chunck of demi-glace in later. Need to make the dark roux and start stewing everything

Gonna boil it for 15-20 minutes so the roux thickens and then season to taste. I'm excited to taste the final product

Super metroid is still the best metroid. Metroid Dread goes in 2nd place

Of the 2d metroids I've played, it's my second favorite. That being said, it's probably tied with the GBA one where you get molested by the x parasites and have to avoid the SA-X. That was fun, if a bit linear (although dread has this problem too)

I enjoyed the random shinespark puzzles, but I did not enjoy being unable to pick up upgrades early if you lacked the base thing (like power bombs)
