After refusing to appear on Sunday after being summoned for Questioning; the Joint Investigation Unit consisting of the Police, the Anti-Corruption Body and the Defense Ministry's Investigation Unit, have stated that they will issue a 2nd Summons for South Korea President Yoon Suk Yeol on Wednesday, for him to appear before them on Charges of Insurrection and Abuse of Power.

Han Dong-hoon, the Leader of the ruling South Korean People Power Party, has announced his resignation following the Failed Coup and Martial Law last week by President Yoon Suk Yeol. He apologizes for both the Martial Law and the ongoing Impeachment against Yoon.

A Statement dated December 16th and attributed to Former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has been released, with this appearing to be his First Public Statement since fleeing the Country to Russia.
