Some disputants cite the “legend” that was circulating in 2018-2019 as an argument, saying that this is a tip, which is then distributed to waiters and bartenders. Perhaps in some rare establishments they do this, but in most, nevertheless, this is a regular tax, which is added to the amount of the order and does not go as a bonus to the staff.
