We are excited to announce an open application for the position of Lead Trainer in the English Speaking Nation: Teacher Leadership Training (ESN: TLT) program. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who are passionate about enhancing English language education in Uzbekistan.

ℹ️ About the Program

The ESN: TLT program, funded by the Public Diplomacy Section (PDS) of the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan, is implemented by American Councils for International Education in partnership with TESOL International Association and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education (MoPSE). This initiative aims to enhance teacher leadership skills among English language educators, driving innovation in English language education across Uzbekistan.

Program Activities Overview

The ESN: TLT program consists of a phased implementation designed to achieve its goals effectively:

Phase I involves recruiting 100 Lead Trainers from a diverse pool of educators. These trainers will undergo a comprehensive training program, including:

- A 40-hour Teachers of English Leadership Institute (TESOL-TELI) focusing on effective teacher leadership, planning and leading development events, and sustaining communities of practice.
- A 24-hour Successful Project Management Institute covering proposal writing and workshop design.

Phase II will see Lead Trainers nominating 10-12 Regional Teacher Leaders and working collaboratively to enhance their leadership skills through workshops and professional exchanges.

- particularly alumni of U.S. government-sponsored programs,
- the ESN: STT alumni, to join this initiative and contribute to the professional development of English language educators.
