Performance is a sponsorship magnet!
Check out the BrawnGP: 1st (top) vs 16th (bottom) race!

The former HONDA team went from risking bankruptcy in 2008 to winning the 2009 championship with Button, partly thanks to the ingenious 'Double Diffuser' (which was harder to stall).

Alpine is the first car to sport a very large, ‘F2-Style’ nose!

Other significant differences vs 12 months ago:
- Completely redesigned sidepods, with much taller waterslides
- Minimal painted areas for additional weight reduction!
- Updated front wing and beam wing

💡AlphaTauri's changes go far beyond their name!

👀Other teams better watch out for them:
>Last year the car improved massively after introducing RedBull's rear suspensions
>The collaboration will be much closer this year: check out that front suspension!🤝

The @visacashapprb is much closer to the dominant RB19 than to its predecessor!💡

🟢 Pull-rod front suspension
Thinner rod (higher tensile vs compressive fibres strength)➡️Better airflow management, lighter
More setup time

🟡 Inclined wishbone

🟣 Thin sidepods intake

-Rear suspension still pull-rod
-Disconnected rear wing tips on high-load wing (never seen before)
-Reworked engine cover with different cooling outlets

The final car will be further updated!

The new AstonMartinF1features a significant change: a switch from pull-rod to push-rod rear suspension!💡

Dan Fallows: “We inherited the new Mercedes push-rod suspension”. (FORMU1A.UNO)

He added that the team focused on improving the car’s aero efficiency (less drag).

THE NEW ASTON SIDEPODS🟢

The AMR23 was an excellent building base: the team started from that concept and integrated a massive undercut under the sidepod.

They also added ‘RB-style’ lips in front of the air inlets (circled).

What’s your impression? 👀

Mercedes went for 'revolution' rather than 'evolution'!💡

🟡Completely different sidepods inlets, even vs their mid-season update
🟣Much more inclined upper wishbone
🔴Different nose-wing attachment point
⚪️Wing looks very elaborate

Will they make this concept work?🤔

💡After just 12 months, Mercedes looks unrecognisable:

-Sidepods: 'zero-pod'➡️uniquely shaped inlets
-Rear suspension: pull-rod➡️push-rod
-Radically different front upper wishbone orientation

The front wing is unique, and I love the livery!
Impressive! 🔥

In 2023, Lewis Hamilton was critical about how much forward the Mercedes' cockpit was located...

The team seems to have followed his input for the W15💡

The cockpit seems to have moved backwards (by 100mm, according to @Giorgio_Piola).

Just an optical effect?🤔

Stable rules➡️Convergence in design💡

The new Aston Martin AMR24 and Ferrari SF24 look much more similar than in the previous years 🔍

As sub-optimal design choices are discarded, engineers are left with fewer options

Will we see a tighter field this year?🤔
