Both Iran and the Yahudi occupiers in Palestine have consistently stood as unwavering adversaries of Ahl al-Sunnah.

‎Their legacies are marked by conflict, persecution, and the shedding of innocent Ahl al-Sunnah blood. The suffering and massacres they have inflicted worldwide upon Ahl al-Sunnah are deeply etched into the annals of Islamic history.

‎For every sincere adherent of Ahl al-Sunnah, the downfall and destruction of these two enemies of Islam—whose hands have long been stained by the oppression of Ahl al-Sunnah—should be met with profound rejoicing.

‎The missiles raining down upon both nations ought to be met with a sincere sajdah of shukr to Allah ﷻ.

‎Their collapse transcends mere politics; it represents a symbolic victory for the steadfast followers of Ahl al-Sunnah who have endured their tyranny, and for all who uphold the true essence of Tawheed.

‎May Allah heal and soothe the hearts of Ahl al-Sunnah in Gaza, Syria, and beyond, who have endured genocides at the hands of these nations.

‎May Allah destroy both nations and make their downfall a means for the righteous Muwahideen to emerge victorious.

Even in the belly of whale, there was hope 🤍✨️

Remember Prophet Yunus عليه السلام alone in the belly of the whale, swallowed by darkness upon darkness.

Yet he called out to His Lord:

.. لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ }

[.. Lâ ilâha illâ Anta [none has the right to be worshipped but You (O, Allâh)], Glorified (and Exalted) be You! Truly, I have been of the wrong-doers.]

"Verily, a Muslim never supplicates for anything with it but that Allah will answer him." [Tirmidhi]

Allah heard him and responded to him from the depths where no help could reach, Allah made a way out.

Ibn al-Qayyim said: "A distressed person does not make Du'a' with the supplication of Prophet Yūnus, except that Allāh drives away his distress and anxiety with Tawhid"

[al-Fawā'id | Pg. 66]

فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ، وَنَجَّيْنَهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ وَكَذَلِكَ نُجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

[So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers]

At-Taubah 9:111

۞إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱشۡتَرَىٰ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَمۡوَٰلَهُم بِأَنَّ لَهُمُ ٱلۡجَنَّةَۚ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَيَقۡتُلُونَ وَيُقۡتَلُونَۖ وَعۡدًا عَلَيۡهِ حَقࣰّا فِي ٱلتَّوۡرَىٰةِ وَٱلۡإِنجِيلِ وَٱلۡقُرۡءَانِۚ وَمَنۡ أَوۡفَىٰ بِعَهۡدِهِۦ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ فَٱسۡتَبۡشِرُواْ بِبَيۡعِكُمُ ٱلَّذِي بَايَعۡتُم بِهِۦۚ وَذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ

(111) ހަމަކަށަވަރުން مؤمن ންގެއަތުން އެބައިމީހުންގެ މުދާތަކާއި އެމީހުންގެ نفس ތައް އެމީހުންނަށް ސުވަރުގެދެއްވާފައި ﷲ تعالى ބައްލަވައިގަނެފިއެވެ. (ގަނެފިއެވެ.) އެއީ ﷲ تعالى ގެ މަގުގައި އެމީހުން ހަނގުރާމަކޮށް دين ގެ عداوة ތެރިން މަރައި އަދި އެމީހުންވެސް شهيد ވެދިއުމަށެވެ. އެއީ توراة އާއި إنجيل އާއި އަދި قرآن ގައި بيان ކުރައްވާފައިވާ އެކަލާނގެ حقّ وَعد ފުޅެކެވެ. އަދި ﷲ ގެ حضرة ން އެމީހަކަށްވާ عَهْدُ ފުއްދައިފިމީހާ (ފަހެ އެފަދަމީހަކަށްވުރެ ތެދުވެރި ރަނގަޅު މީހަކު ނުވެއެވެ.) (އޭ مؤمن ންނޭވެ!) ފަހެ ކަލޭމެން އެވިޔަފާރިއަކުން ކަލޭމެން ކުރި ވިޔަފާރިއަށް އުފާކުރާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ: ﷲ ގެ މަގުގައި ކަލޭމެންގެ މުދަލާއި ޖާނުން ޖިހާދުކުރި މީހުން އޭގެބަދަލުގައި ސުވަރުގެ ލިބުމަކީ ނަފާހުރި ވިޔަފާރިއެކެވެ. އެކަމާމެދު އުފާކުރާށެވެ!) އަދި ބޮޑުވެގެންވާ ނަސީބަކީ އެއީއެވެ.

Verily, Allâh has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise. They fight in Allâh’s Cause, so they kill (others) and are killed. It is a promise in truth which is binding on Him in the Taurât (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) and the Qur’ân. And who is truer to his covenant than Allâh? Then rejoice in the bargain which you have concluded. That is the supreme success.[1]

It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar said: The Messenger of Allaah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:

“The believer who mixes with people and bears their annoyance with patience will have a greater reward than the one who does not mix with people and does not put up with their annoyance.”

Not establishing a strong base of Nafli ‘Ibādāt is one of the factors that lead to relapsing into misguidance, abandoning the Manhaj, and becoming a caller to misguidance — a phenomenon far too common among the youth.

Shaykh Ahmad Mūsā Jibrīl حفظه الله said, “I dare you to bring me any Shahīd إن شاء الله — any of the righteous, knowledgeable people or the Shuhadā’ who did not get up or have a history of praying the night Qiyām. I dare you that! Why do you think the so-called “scholars” today, the ignorant heads of today who are called scholars have led people astray? Because that forehead of theirs does not bow at night time and ask Allāh for guidance like Ibn Taymiyyah and Imām Ahmad Ibn Hanbal did. A forehead that bows in prostration to Allāh at night time could not get up during the day time and lead the masses (the Ummah) astray in matters of 'Aqīdah that were never disputed or please the Kuffār.”

Too often we see young brothers and sisters just mere weeks into adopting the correct creed, yet the majority of their days are spent socializing on social media, scrolling endlessly and consuming things above their understanding, and engaging in back and forth debates that are way above their level. If they had cut out these distractions and avenues employed by the Shaytān to plant doubts, and instead invested that time and energy into seeking beneficial knowledge and engaging in ‘Ibādah, that would aid them in remaining steadfast upon the correct Manhaj and cementing their beliefs. Instead, many skip the knowledge they should be learning, perhaps because it’s not the topic of “trending” debates, and jump to “learning” about the hefty matters so that they can jump in and give their opinions under every other post. Shortly thereafter, you find these same individuals confused, misguided, and Manhaj-hopping.

Reflect: A building without a strong foundation is bound to topple from even the slightest winds — the foundation here being Taqwā (built from Nawāfil, seeking beneficial knowledge, and self-reflection and rectification). One who attempts to run before he can walk will only trip and land on his face, and likewise one who jumps into matters he can’t fully understand or comprehend before cementing that which relates to him directly and personally of knowledge will only end up humiliating himself — and the worst humiliation is misguidance.

So while this applies to all of us generally, we should specifically and emphatically advise those new to the Manhaj to

Distance themselves from social media and from socializing with immature brothers whose sole focus is on debating, socializing, and gaining clout

Focus on building a strong connection to Allāh and cultivating fear of Him through supererogatory acts

And to exert their time and efforts into seeking beneficial knowledge and making their character and personal lives into a reflection of their Manhaj.

It’s ridiculous when you hear of stories of young men (and women) who aren’t praying on time, are texting sisters and discussing marriage to them WITHOUT the knowledge or involvement of their Wali, who earn Harām, can’t respect their parents, can’t purify their tongues from foul language, etc — yet they are the first to recklessly engage in topics that even the most qualified of Ulamā’ discuss with caution, casually uttering statements that may put their Ākhirah on the line.

Inshā’Allāh if such advice was heeded, we would see many less cases of people turning on their heels from the truth after a short time (and may Allāh protect ALL of us from misguidance after having been guided, not a single one of us is safe).

The Proper Way to Count the Tasbīḥ after Prayers with Fingers

Question: ʿAfallah ʿAnkum, O Shaykh. What is the proper way to count the tasbīḥ with fingers after prayer?

Answer: The ḥadīth of ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ states,
«رأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يعقد التسبيح بيده»
"I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) counting the tasbīḥ with his hand."


It is also narrated [with additional wording],
«بيمينه»
"with his right hand,"


but the wording “with his right hand” is shādhah (anomalous). The preserved version is, "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) counting the tasbīḥ with his hand."

In Abū Dāwūd another narration stated,
«سبحن بالأنامل»
"Recite the tasbih with your fingers,"


but this is weak.

The ḥadīth of ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ could have one of two meanings:

(i) It could be "counting the tasbīḥ with his hand," meaning that tasbīḥ is prescribed with the hand. It's as if he's saying that tasbīḥ is not prescribed with anything other than the hand. This is meant to clarify the type, as if he's saying that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never counted tasbīḥ with pebbles, date pits, or anything else. He counted tasbīḥ with his hand.

(ii) It could also be that he meant the right hand, based on the generality of the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah:
«كان يعجبه التيمن في تنعله وترجله وطهوره وفي شأنه كله»
(he preferred to start with his right hand when putting on his shoes, combing his hair, purifying himself, and in all his other affairs).


Most scholars hold this ⌜latter⌝ view, and that tasbīḥ is recommended with the right hand.

No particular ṣīghah (style) has been reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding this matter. Did he recite the tasbīḥ with his fingertips or interlock his fingers? Since there is no evidence to support this from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the matter is broad. What is intended is to count the number, whether with the right hand or both hands, and whether done with the fingertips or the fingers. The Sunnah is to count the tasbīḥ with the hand, as ʿAbdullah ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ only mentioned this to convey a meaning, namely that tasbīḥ should be done with the hand and not with anything else.

📝Additional Notes: In another place Shaykh Al-ʿAlwān said: “Something that has two sides, the right one is better than the left one. Nevertheless if a person counts tasbīḥ with both hands, there is no harm in that. As for the addition, mentioning "right hand" this is shādhah (weak), the objective of that narrtion is to limit it. Also avoid Rosary, as it has no basis.” (See, Audio). In another place he was asked about the device that is placed on the hand for counting and tasbīḥ, and he said: I do not forbid it, and fingers are more appropriate (awlā). ⚙️The Authentic Modes of Reciting the Tasbīḥ after Obligatory Prayers.

Question: Are the ḥadīths that mention reciting Al-Tashahhud ten times (i.e. reciting the testimony of faith, ten times) after the Salām (i.e. ending) of prayer, authentic?

Answer: The ḥadīths that mention reciting the Tashahhud ten times is to recite: "Subḥān-Allah" thirty-three times, "Al-Ḥamdulillah" thirty-three times, "Wa-Allahu-Akbar" thirty-three times, and to complete a hundred, by reciting: "Lā ʾilāha ʾillallāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr." and then say: "Lā ilāha illā-Allah" ten times. This narration is ḍaʿīf (weak). The authentic aḥadīth from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the supplications recited after each prayer are as follows:

1⃣The first method: Say "Subḥān-Allah" thirty-three times, "Wal-Ḥamdulillah" thirty-three times, and "Wal-Allahu-Akbar" thirty-four times.

2⃣The second method: Say "Subḥān-Allah" thirty-three times, "Wal-Ḥamdulillah" thirty-three times, and "Wal-Allahu-Akbar" thirty-three times. And Instead of saying "Allahu Akbar" for the thirty-fourth time you say "La ilaha illa Allah waḥdahu..." once, so each one is thirty-three, and to complete the hundred, you recite "Lā ʾilāha ʾillallāh waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd wa huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr." This is the method that is popular today.

3⃣The third method: Say each one thirty-three times, without completing the hundred.

4⃣The fourth method: To say ten of each.

5⃣The fifth method: To say: "Subḥān-Allah" twenty-five times, "Wal-Ḥamdulillah" twenty-five times, "Wal-Allahu-Akbar" twenty-five times, and "La ilaha illa Allah" twenty-five times.

6⃣The sixth method: It is what was previously mentioned (in the beginning) as ḍaʿīf (weak.)

7⃣The seventh method: This is disputed in defining, as this method refers to the method we mentioned earlier (No. 2 and 3). We have preferred one of its definitions over the other. What we concluded (as more correct) is, reciting: "Subḥān-Allah," "Al-Ḥamdulillah," and "Wal-Allahu-Akbar," each one thirty-three times.

Whereas thare are some who say: "You recite a total sum of thirty-three from of all" which would mean reading each of the three, eleven times only. However, this narration is incorrect. The correct version is what I mentioned, which is thirty-three times from each one, making a total of ninety-nine.

These method (other than what was mentioned as weak) are authentically attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
