🇲🇽🌸❌🚩 — March for Our Democracy [Marcha por Nuestra Democracia]: the protests on February 18th that formed a Pink Wave against the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador in Mexico, with the participation of nearly 800 thousand people

⚠️ Last Sunday, the march for democracy 2024 was celebrated, where Mexicans were called upon to demand respect for electoral autonomy for the democratic exercise that will take place on June 2nd, to which some figures within the political realm have reacted to this event.

💬 The former president of the National Electoral Institute (INE), Lorenzo Córdova Vianello, used his speech at the March for Democracy to criticize the federal government, led by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO), due to the constant criticisms of constitutional bodies.

➡️ These are the demands of the citizenry regarding democracy:

1. That the president does not interfere in elections.
2. That governors do not divert resources for official campaigns.
3. That public and private media acknowledge that social programs are constitutional.
4. That the INE, TEPJF, and local authorities do their work independently.
5. To shield elections from organized crime money.
6. That the media cover candidates equally. That public media are not government propaganda apparatuses. Stop discrediting the SCJN and other autonomous bodies.
7. To put an end to propaganda claiming that the election has already been decided.
8. Citizens' commitment to free and informed voting.
9. To promote the importance of votes for deputies, senators, and local authorities.
10. Free vote.

Some important addendums:

➡️ More than 113 Deputies from the Center, Center-Right and Right of the Brazilian Federal Congress signed the protocol of Lula's Impeachment for violating Brazilian Diplomatic Neutrality (which has existed as an official Tradition since the times of the Brazilian Monarchy of Orleans and Bragança, by the way)

➡️ In a few days there will be anti-government protests that had already been scheduled for weeks by the opposition due to internal events related to the fact that the current Brazilian authorities weaponized the judicial system against key opposition figures. Expect to see certain media linked to the international liberal Left and some pro-Russian/Pro-Palestinian media outlets schizophrenically saying that the "Mossad and the CIA are using such protests to destabilize a Pro-BRICS and supposedly Pro-Palestinian Government", when everything, as impressive as it may seems, was an incredible coincidence of chance.

➡️ Lula managed to anger even Brazilian Labor Zionist Jews (who are notably Anti-Netanyahu and friendly to moderate Brazilian pro-Palestinian groups), such as the Organization of "Jews for Democracy", who donated and actively advertised for his campaign during the 2022 General Elections (see the post), which now are accusing "Lula of betraying his commitment of protecting religious, sexual and ethnic minorities, from which Jews are part"

By far, a funny sequence of events lies ahead, as the Brazilian side seems ready to double down on the bet more and more
