The enemy in this direction is seriously exhausted, our units have penetrated deep into the city and are storming the main defensive line, and therefore the AFU command requires urgent reinforcements, otherwise the fall of the city will not only be inevitable, but will happen very quickly.

And here is where a very unpleasant fork of decisions emerges for Ze-k (Zelensky) and his gang. Surrendering a major city to the enemy would collapse the myth of an all-conquering Ukrainian army, without which Western aid could be curtailed.
