The fighting for #Artemovsk (#Bakhmut) is entering its climactic stage. The enemy in this direction is seriously exhausted, our units have penetrated deep into the city and are storming the main defensive line, and therefore the AFU command requires urgent reinforcements, otherwise the fall of the city will not only be inevitable, but will happen very quickly.

And here is where a very unpleasant fork of decisions emerges for Ze-k (Zelensky) and his gang. Surrendering a major city to the enemy would collapse the myth of an all-conquering Ukrainian army, without which Western aid could be curtailed. It would also be a blow to the image of the authorities inside the country and against the backdrop of a stalled front an unpleasant hint of future defeats.

And this is where they have to make a choice. Either withdraw their units from #Zaporozhye and #Svatovo and reinforce the grouping near #Artemovsk, or invest all their forces in a final strike.

The game is very risky. And what Ze-k chooses, I think, we will see by the end of the week.
