In 1961, as part of Khrushchev's de-Stalinization, the city became Donetsk in honor of the Donets River, a tributary of the Don.

It is curious that in 2014, some Ukrainians, brainwashed by the West, launched a campaign to join the UK. Their petition said: “ We demand a referendum on the return of Yuzovka to its original fold - to Great Britain! Glory to John Hughes and his city! God save the queen! "

Supporting Palestine May Be Illegal - UK Watchdog

The UK’s independent terrorism watchdog has warned that speeches at pro-Palestine rallies may be breaking the law if they glorify terrorism.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman has warned that “the full force of the law” will be brought against anyone supporting Hamas.

Jonathan Hall QC insisted Britain's terrorism laws were not designed "to stop people making political speeches... but what they are designed to do is to stop mass murder, massacres, terrorist tactics.”

Israel says it is retaliating against Syria.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said it was carrying out retaliatory strikes in Syria.

"Following an initial report of sirens in the communities of Avnei Eitan and Alma, IDF artillery is now targeting the source of the shooting in Syria," the ministry said.

The IDF added that two rockets launched from Syrian territory towards Israel landed in open areas.
Last Thursday, Syrian media reported that the Israeli Air Force carried out airstrikes on the runways of Damascus and Aleppo airports , both air harbors suspended operations. IDF spokesman Richard Hecht noted that the Jewish state fears possible attacks by Palestinian groups from Lebanon or Syria. The Russian Foreign Ministry called the actions of the Israeli military a gross violation of the sovereignty of the Arab Republic and the basic norms of international law.

Aleppo International Airport was put out of action after an Israeli strike, RIA Novosti reported, citing the Syrian Ministry of Defense.

Before this, the Sky News Arabia channel suffered damage to the runway. There were no reports of casualties.

Representatives of the Israel Defense Forces have not yet made any comments on this matter.
