Residents of Roosevelt Island in New York reported the sounds of explosions, local media write.
According to the publications, at about 5:45 (13:45 Moscow time) townspeople felt “three tremors that shook their houses.” Some said they heard sounds like explosions.

As RIA Novosti was told by the New York Fire Department, early in the morning they received a call about “a building shaking and an explosion.” The incident was reported to have occurred at 580 Main Street - south of the Roosevelt Island Bridge.

Repubblica: Scholz faces resignation.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz may leave his post early due to a loss of confidence, the newspaper Repubblica reports , citing sources.
