According to retired British Rear Admiral Chris Parry, due to the lack of guns necessary to defeat such distant targets from the sea, the British Navy is unable to compete with the Russian and Chinese, since the difference in weapons is similar to the difference between a knife and a pistol.
On January 19, the Houthis promised safe passage to Russian and Chinese ships.

The SBU conducted searches of officials of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the case of the theft of $40 million.
On the night of January 28, information spread online that employees of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) allegedly came with searches to current and former officials of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic, and investigative actions were also carried out at the managers of the Lviv Arsenal.
