Ukiyo-e style prints by French-Japanese artist Paul Jacoulet. Although born in Paris, he moved to Japan where, after years of study, he came to be recognized as a master of the woodblock print artform.
I would also like to post this print, which is one of several Jacoulet's of anthropological interest. This is because Jacoulet's oeuvre includes some of the few depictions of traditional Ainu dress, as seen here.
