🇩🇪-Germany suspends migrant family reunions amid rising urban security fears

German lawmakers voted 444–135 to suspend family reunions for migrants with “subsidiary protection” status—about 388,000 people, mostly Syrians—for two years.

Close relatives had been joining up to 1,000 per month on humanitarian grounds; now that ceases, reportedly reducing arrivals by 12,000 annually.

🇷🇸 - An analysis of current traffic patterns and roadblocks in Belgrade reveals a severe and coordinated disruption across the capital. At least 18 key intersections and arteries are blocked, including all major access points to the city center, bridges over the Sava and Danube Rivers, and segments of the main southbound highway (Autoput za Niš).

The blockade pattern effectively divides the city into multiple isolated zones, crippling logistical movement between Zemun, Novi Beograd, Stari Grad, Voždovac, and central government zones near the Belgrade Fortress and administrative core.

Belgrade’s urban layout—non-grid, decentralized, and with limited rapid deployment corridors—does not favor regime countermeasures in the event of urban unrest. If hostile actors hold these chokepoints, the central government may find itself encircled and tactically immobilized.
Conclusion: Based on current mobility data, the Serbian regime appears to be in a state of acute vulnerability. Unless aerial or armored units are rapidly deployed, command and control capacities in the capital are likely degraded.

NOTE: The location “Mostarska Petlja – Belgrade Fair” refers to a key area in central Belgrade where the Mostarska Petlja interchange connects directly to the Belgrade Fair (Beogradski Sajam)—one of the city’s main exhibition and event venues.

Strategically positioned in the Savski Venac municipality, this corridor links several major urban and transit routes, including access to the Gazela Bridge, highways E‑75 and E‑70, and the southern districts of the city. It is both a logistical hub and a symbolic gateway into the heart of Belgrade’s business and cultural zones.

🇹🇷🇦🇲🇦🇿 - Caucasus War Report: We won’t comment too much until the official details are released, but Armenia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have reached an agreement on the Zangezur corridor during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s recent visit to Turkey. Under this deal, Russia will have zero control over the corridor effectively being cut out entirely.

In response, Moscow attempted a failed coup against Pashinyan through clerical channels last week to disrupt the ongoing negotiations. Now, it’s trying to pressure Azerbaijan, but those efforts are also falling flat. In essence, Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan are forming a new regional axis that openly challenges Russian influence.
