Statement Issued by Hezbollah

Hezbollah condemns the treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted Syria in a blatant assault on its territory. Israel hides behind flimsy pretexts and slogans to implement its expansionist and divisive projects, which aim to dismantle and divide Syria and sow discord among its people.

This Zionist aggression is a clear attempt to undermine the stability of the Syrian state and weaken its capabilities. It comes in the same context as its ongoing attacks on Lebanon and the Gaza Strip.

We, in Hezbollah, stress the need to preserve the unity and sovereignty of Syria as an independent state. We express our confidence that the honorable people of Syria will be a strong barrier against these suspicious schemes. We call on the international community, particularly Arab countries, to take urgent action to halt this aggression against the countries of the region and their stability, sovereignty, and security.

➡️ The IDF's security cabinet is set to convene and take minister's vote on the approval of the military plans.

➡️ Such military expansion will require the call-up orders to tens of thousands of reservists tonight. Currently, 3 IDF Divisions are operating within Gaza.

➡️ The order comes following the refusal of the AlQassam Brigades to free the captives in a "surrender" deal, and the IDF is thus forced to launch a major offensive once again to militarily defeat the group.
