🔴 Under the orders of the Genocidal Kemal Ataturk, 68 valiant Greeks from Samsun and Bafra, who were executed in 1921 on the grounds that they were trying to establish the Pontos Republic, marched to death with their heads high
🟢 The names are written strangely since they were acquired from diaries of U.S Navy Officers which most likely had problems understanding the names of Greeks

🟢 It tells in detail what happened during what is known as "The Greek Genocide" when the Turks started an ethnic cleansing campaign against Greeks all over Turkey, destroying thousands of years of history
🟢 Villages, Churches, Schools and everything else that had belonged to the Greeks for thousands of years was either stolen or destroyed and 700 000+ Indigenous Greeks were killed

🇬🇷 A Pontic Greek woman speaking Pontic Greek (Ρωμέϊκα)
Pontic Greek is a dialect of the Greek language that is largely derived, like almost all the other modern Greek dialects, from the Koine (common) Greek of Hellenistic and Roman times (4th century BC - 4th century AD). It probably began to become markedly distinct from the rest of the modern Greek dialects after the Seljuk invasions of Asia Minor [in the 11th century AD], which split Pontus from the other regions of the Byzantine Empire. However, some older features of the Greek language that disappeared from other Greek dialects were retained in Pontic, while some innovations seem to have taken place in Pontic under the influence of other Greek dialects even after the medieval period.
The woman in the video says that her language is her roots, her past, her present, and her future.

🔸 Erdogan said that "there is no question of letting Cyprus be 'harassed' by the Cypriots. The withdrawal of Turkish troops cannot even be proposed. We will continue diplomacy with countries on international platforms in the coming days"
🔸 So far, he said, "their stance on 'northern cyprus' has been clear, but we will defend the rights of the 'Turkish Cypriot people' to the fullest. But let me tell you, we do not trust anyone but us"
🔸 He also stated that, unexpectedly, he will go to the occupied territories "on July 20 for the anniversary of the Day of Peace and Freedom", as they call the anniversary of the Turkish invasion of Cyprus

/GBG/🟢 To cut it short, the EU wants Turkey to fulfill its part of the immigration agreement and accept illegal immigrants who went from Turkey to Greece back, as Greece has already requested thousands of them to be deported but Turkey refuses to accept them, going directly against the deal made with the EU
