بخش ۲: معرفی کتاب ایکیگای - فصل اول

همه ما دنبال یه چیزیم که بهمون انگیزه بده. چیزی که دلیل بیدار شدن صبح‌هامون باشه. در فرهنگ ژاپنی، به این مفهوم میگن IKIGAI. معنی کلمه‌ای این واژه میشه “دلیلی برای بودن”. حالا توی فصل اول کتاب IKIGAI، نویسنده‌ها قدم‌به‌قدم به ما توضیح میدن که چطور این مفهوم با کمک چهار سوال کلیدی تعریف میشه و هر کدوم چطور به یکی از جنبه‌های مهم زندگی پیوند می‌خوره.

حالا بیایید این چهار سوال رو بررسی کنیم:

1. چی رو دوست داری؟ (What you love)
اینجا صحبت از عشق و اشتیاق به کاریه که واقعاً ازش لذت می‌بری. این همون چیزیه که وقتی مشغول انجام دادنش هستی، زمان رو فراموش می‌کنی.
2. در چی مهارت داری؟ (What you are good at)
این بخش به توانایی‌ها و استعدادهای شخصی مربوط میشه. اون چیزی که توش مهارت داری و بقیه هم بهت برای اون توانایی‌ها مراجعه می‌کنن.
3. چی می‌تونی براش پول بگیری؟ (What you can be paid for)
این قسمت به اقتصادی کردن مهارت‌ها و علاقه‌ها مربوط میشه. اینجا بحث اینه که چطور از مهارت‌هات برای تامین مالی زندگیت استفاده کنی.
4. دنیا به چی نیاز داره؟ (What the world needs)
این بخش می‌پرسه چطور می‌تونی از عشق و مهارت‌هات برای کمک به جامعه و پاسخ به نیازهای جهانی استفاده کنی.

حالا وقتی این چهار سوال با هم ترکیب بشن، به نتایج جالبی می‌رسیم:

• چی رو دوست داری و در چی مهارت داری ترکیب بشن، نتیجه میشه Passion (اشتیاق).
• در چی مهارت داری و چی می‌تونی براش پول بگیری با هم ترکیب بشن، میشه Profession (حرفه).
• چی می‌تونی براش پول بگیری و دنیا به چی نیاز داره ترکیب بشن، میشه Vocation (شغل).
• و در نهایت، ترکیب چی رو دوست داری با دنیا به چی نیاز داره، Mission (رسالت) رو می‌سازه.

در مرکز این چهار دایره، اون نقطه مشترک که همه این موارد رو به هم پیوند می‌ده، همون IKIGAI ـه. جایی که اشتیاق، حرفه، شغل و رسالت به هم می‌رسن.

We’re all looking for something that gives us motivation. Something that makes us want to get up in the morning. In Japanese culture, this concept is called IKIGAI, which translates to “a reason for being.” In the first chapter of the book IKIGAI, the authors explain step by step how this concept is defined through four key questions and how each connects to an important aspect of life.

Let’s look at these four questions:

1. What you love
This is about passion—something you truly enjoy doing, the thing you lose track of time doing.
2. What you are good at

خیلی از سوال‌های ذهن اشتباه است. اگر حواست به ذهن نباشد تو را با سوال‌های نادرست گیج می‌کند! سوال‌های ذهن معمولاً در مورد گذشته و آینده است. سوال‌های ذهن معمولاً پر از پیش‌فرض است. یکی از راه‌های ورود به لحظه و دور زدن ذهن، سوال‌هایی است که معطوف به لحظه است.
مثلاً
همین الان چطوری؟
الان چه حس‌هایی در بدنت داری؟
همین الان چه وضعیتی از نظر احساسی داری؟
وضعیت نفس کشیدن‌ات چگونه است؟

این سوالات، ناخودآگاه، توجه تو را به زمان حال می‌آورد. زمان حال جایی است که ذهن از آن فراری است.
دانستن وضعیت جسمی و روحی در زمان حال، یکی از مهم‌ترین کارهای ما در هر لحظه است.
معمولاً کلاف‌های پیچیدۀ ذهن، ما را در دنیایی خیالی گیر می‌اندازند و ما را از دانستن وضعیت لحظه باز می‌دارند.

پس مهم‌ترین سوال و مهم‌ترین کار در هر لحظه این است که بدانیم در چه وضعیتی از نظر بدنی و ذهنی و احساسی هستیم.

اگر چه ساده به نظر می‌رسد ولی اغلبِ آدم‌ها از وضعیت خودشان بی‌خبرند.
مثلاً یک فرد مضطرب نمی‌داند مضطرب است و یک فرد عصبانی نمی‌داند که خشمگین است.
همین توجه کردن و دانستن وضعیت در لحظه، به سادگی تو را به حالت مراقبه‌گونِ لحظه می‌آورد.

در غیر این صورت، ذهن، داستان‌های هزارتویی برای تو درست می‌کند و تو را با خودش می‌برد. درست مثل سینما.
وقتی در سینما هستی برای بیرون آمدن از درامای فیلم می‌توانی به اطراف خودت نگاه کنی. یعنی به صندلی‌ها و سالن سینما. اینطوری از داخل دنیای خیالیِ نقش بسته بر پردۀ سینما بیرون می‌آیی.
همین مثال در مورد ذهن هم صادق است.
با دیدن وضعیت خودت در لحظه، از سینمای مجازی ذهن بیرون می‌آیی.
به همین سادگی!

Many of the mind’s questions are mistaken. If you’re not mindful, the mind can confuse you with incorrect questions! These questions are often about the past or future, full of assumptions. One way to enter the present moment and bypass the mind is by asking questions centered on the moment.
For example,
How are you right now?
What sensations do you feel in your body?
What’s your emotional state right now?
How’s your breathing?

These questions subconsciously draw your attention to the present moment, a place the mind often avoids.
Knowing your physical and mental state in the present is one of the most important things we can do.
The complex tangles of the mind often trap us in a fictional world, keeping us from understanding the current moment.

So, the most crucial question and task in each moment is to know your physical, mental, and emotional state.

Although it may seem simple, most people are unaware of their state.
For instance, an anxious person may not realize they’re anxious, and an angry person may not know they’re angry.
Simply paying attention and knowing your current state can easily bring you into a meditative state in the present.

Otherwise, the mind will create labyrinthine stories and take you along, much like the cinema.
When you’re in the cinema, to step out of the film’s drama, you can look around, at the seats and the theater. This way, you exit the imaginary world on the cinema screen.
The same applies to the mind.
By seeing your present state, you step out of the mind’s virtual cinema.
It’s that simple!

• Lower immigration targets mean Canada will need around 670,000 fewer homes by 2027, according to Immigration Minister Marc Miller.

Why it matters: While reducing immigration could ease pressure on public services, Canada’s economy has been built on welcoming newcomers. A Scotiabank report suggests that this shift might lead to a shrinking labor force in the near future.

وقتی نیازهای دنیا رو می‌بینی و همزمان کاری رو انتخاب می‌کنی که برات درآمدزایی هم داره، به اون چیزی می‌رسی که IKIGAI ازش به عنوان Vocation یا همون رسالت شغلی یاد می‌کنه. اینجا جاییه که علاقه شخصی، نیازهای جامعه و امکان کسب درآمد همگی در کنار هم جمع می‌شن و به زندگی کاری‌مون معنا و هدف می‌دن.

تصور کن هر روز صبح بیدار بشی و بری سر کاری که نه تنها به جامعه و دنیا کمک می‌کنه، بلکه نیازهای مالی خودت رو هم تأمین می‌کنه. این ترکیب از یه شغل فقط واسه پول درآوردن فراتر می‌ره و تبدیل می‌شه به چیزی که نه تنها ارزشمنده، بلکه توش رضایت واقعی رو هم پیدا می‌کنی.

برای نسل Z، این مفهوم خیلی مهمه. این نسل، همون‌طور که دخترم هم بهم یاد داد، دنبال اینه که کاری پیدا کنه که هم به خودش و هم به جامعه فایده برسونه. دیگه فقط کار نمی‌کنن واسه یه چک حقوقی؛ دنبال اینن که با کاری که می‌کنن، دنیا رو جای بهتری بکنن.

وقتی نیازهای دنیا و فرصت کسب درآمد با هم ترکیب می‌شن، یه شغل هدفمند و با ارزش خلق می‌شه که هم به جامعه کمک می‌کنه و هم زندگی ما رو تأمین می‌کنه. این همون چیزیه که IKIGAI بهمون یاد می‌ده: این‌که چطور می‌تونیم کاری رو پیدا کنیم که علاوه بر تأمین مالی، به دنیا هم نفع برسونه.
