Challenge: if you believe we're in the end times... then read Daniel, Revelation, and Jesus words about it with some fresh eyes. Set aside the newest commentaries from your favorite pastor and maybe try a really old commentary, and get a perspective from wise christian people who had a completely different set of challenges, but were absolutely in the fold. But he holds to a very different end times eschatological view than most American pastors since 1900. Well, well, the truth comes out.
Mask mandates are disappearing across the country, even though active Covid cases - while declining - remain higher than any other time during the pandemic except in January and daily deaths remain as high as a good bit of last year.
All the sudden, mask and vaccine mandates are halting.
Media hysteria, rampant for the past two years, has just up and disappeared.
What happened?
Could it have something to do with the mid-term elections? Tumbling poll numbers the Dems who politically weaponized the virus, pushed masks - even for children - and shutdowns (even schools!) that cost trillions that we’re all paying for now?
Could it be, as In-Fauci-We-Trust said early on in the pandemic, that the airborn virus was too fine and masking “might make people feel a little bit better and it might even block a droplet, but it’s not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.”?
Of course, he changed his tune as big media shouted daily that masks slow and even stop the spread, despite the CDC saying masking may help SLOW the spread but only in conjunction with distancing.
Friends, I said from the start that masking, distancing and shutdowns won’t keep you safe, that everyone gets exposed/infected, many without even knowing it.
It’s what viruses do.
Even those areas that masked, isolated and shutdown extensively could not escape.
Yes, I underestimated the deaths, but it’s still way less than half of the 2.2 to 2.4 million deaths in the US as predicted by big media.
No field hospitals, hospital ships or mass graves, as they warned.
It killed mostly the elderly and/or infirmed.
Remember how many of you screamed that wearing a mask saved lives, that anyone not doing so was basically a killer? Remember the vigorous mask-shaming?
I know many of you hated me for speaking this back then and will hate me now.
Your mind recoils at the idea you were played, herded like children during a fire alarm.
That you hid and closed schools and ruined countless businesses - along with our economy - to try to escape the inevitable.
Yes, we were able to spread infections and deaths over time. We did slow the spread with distancing and isolation - which works until you come out, as we had to.
Masks just made us feel safe and less fearful.
Like pacifiers.
Our leaders and media are admitting that now.

Over the past year or so, old friends or even family will hint at the idea that they really don't understand how I could believe what I believe on particular issues.. I typically choose not to engage because I can see that our entire world views have drifted so far apart that to insert ourselves into conversation on an isolated topic of divergence would be akin to speaking different languages entirely.

Having the conversation with them would require a much larger and deeper conversation about the state of things in our world, biblical prophecies, how the American people have been lied to on so many levels, and who is really pulling the strings these days. Honestly, the conversation just feels too big, and I don't know that they would really want to hear it anyway. It can be so frustrating...even very depressing for me if I'm being honest.

I’ve respected his work for 20 years, he’s an expert on Russian history, communism, has an adopted daughter from Ukraine, and remained vigilant in his study of Russian thought, even when he was told for 30 years it was useless.
