Hezbullah mourns the death of Mahmoud Melhim due to complications from COVID-19.

Abu Ali Mahmoud is one of the participants in the 2006 operation against the IDF.
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah:

"If there is a war with the Zionist entity, the Israeli home front will face a situation it did not witness since 1948."
Nasrallah:

- Hezbollah is not seeking confrontation. But if you strike our towns or civilians, we will strike yours. In any case, we have civilians. However, by Israeli admission, Israeli people are an army of reserve: [after the mandatory draft], they work 11 months and serve one month [as a reservist] per year.

- There really is no real distinction between Israeli soldiers and civilians [as reservists].

- Recent talk of "a few days' battle" is dangerous, and could lead to places where Israelis don't want. We do not have anything called a few days' battles.

Quoting: David Daoud.
Nasrallah:

- We followed up with the LAF & ISF on the Beirut Port Blast investigation and urged them to announce results, they said details can't be revealed on the matter.

- Announcing the results is important on the economic level, some insurance companies are cheating on people's right of payments on pretext of explosion cause.

Matthew, I know your political and ethical position in this conflict, but have the decency to read the context, and condemn the words of IDF's CoS before Nasrallah's words.

Nasrallah: "In the past, we deterred Israel by striking their settlements and colonies. We'll do it again."

Nasrallah is responding to IDF Chief of Staff's statement that "every 5th house in Lebanon is a military target", and Lebanese civilian concentrations will be attacked in the next war.

The organization "Human Rights Watch" refuted Israel's claim, and proved with on-the-ground evidence that Hezbollah does not use civilian homes as storage for its weapons.

🚨 Flares fired by the IDF above Al Wazani area between Lebanon and Palestine.
Ali Shiab:

"Due to the stormy weather, the enemy fired two flares near the technical fence in front of the Wazzani parks, due to suspicions of someone touching the fence."

In 2016, the Obama administration approved $ 38 billion (US tax payer money) in foreign aid to Israel for ten years, which was due to expire in 2029, but the IDF establishment used most of that money for purchases, particularly for the second F-35 Squadron.

Increase in the price of gasoline and diesel in Lebanon, by 1,600 liras:

- 95 Octane gasoline: 31,200 liras.

- 98 Octane gasoline: 32,200 liras.

- Diesel: 21,400 liras.

- Gas: 24,400 liras.

That's due to worldwide increase of prices.

🚨 Russia is mediating between Syria and Israel over a prisoner exchange deal.

Two 'Israeli Arabs' (Syrians) will be released from Israeli prison in return for Syria releasing an Israeli woman who crossed the border 'by accident', Israeli and Syrian media report.
Lebanese News and Updates
According to Barak Ravid, Israel's top officials, PM Netanyahu, MoD Gantz and MFA Ashkenazi, along with the military attache to Moscow, discussed "Humanitarian issues in Syria" with their Russian counterparts.
🚨 What has been negotiated:

Russians to release a religious teenage girl who crossed the border two weeks ago into Syria. By: @AAhronheim

Odd that the Syrian state media hasn't reported the event then.
The Syrians to be released are:

- Nihal Al Maqt, a Druze from the Golan, serving (under house arrest) a suspended 3-year prison term with hard labor. She was convicted of anti-Israel incitement. Her brother Sidqi (the 'Syrian Mandela' activist, jailed for espionage) was released last year in a swap also mediated by Russia.

- Dhiab Qahmouz, an Alawite from Ghajar, sentenced to 14 years. He is allegedly part of a Hezbullah cell captured by the IDF in Ghajar.

The Golan and (a part of) Ghajar are Syrian territories occupied by Israel. The other part of Ghajar is in Lebanon.
