– The criminal President of America, who has nothing in his black record except murder, plunder, and assassination, and who has consistently supported the crimes of the brutal Zionist regime, has dared to make a foolish comment regarding the position of authority and leadership of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah Khamenei (may Allah protect him).
– This great figure is the flag-bearer of the dignity of Islam and the cry for help for the oppressed of the Islamic Ummah in the present era.

I salute the great Iranian people.
The first topic I wish to address is to commend the conduct of our dear people in the recent issue the country faced at the hands of its enemies. The Iranian people proved to be steadfast, courageous, and aware of the moment. The movement the people presented to the world on the day of Eid al-Ghadir was a great movement: the people's gatherings and their marches in recent days, their presence in Friday prayers and the subsequent marches, are all signs of the maturity of the Iranian people, the firmness of their rationality and spirituality, alongside the courage and good timing of our dear people. I thank Allah for granting this faithful nation such spiritual and Allah capabilities and potential, praise be to God. Here, I find it necessary to point to the beautiful and expressive act of that female television presenter in the face of the enemy's arrogance: her saying "Allahu Akbar" and showing the strength of the people to the whole world; this was a very historic and valuable incident.
The second topic is that this incident, the foolish and malicious attack by the zionist entity on our country, occurred while government officials were engaged in indirect negotiations, through an intermediary, with the American side. There was no indication from Iran's side of any military step or a sharp, harsh move. Of course, it was expected from the beginning that America would be a partner in this malicious act of the zionist entity, but with these recent statements they are making, this expectation is reinforced day by day. The Iranian people are firmly resisting the imposed war, just as they have resisted so far, and they are firmly resisting the peace they want to impose. The Iranian people do not submit to anyone's dictates in their confrontation. I expect that those of thought, pen, and expression, especially those who have contact with global public opinion, will clarify these meanings and concepts and explain them to the public. They must not allow the enemy to distort the facts through its deceptive propaganda. The zionist enemy committed a grave mistake and a major crime, and it must be punished, and it is receiving its punishment; it is receiving its retribution now. It is being punished now.
