I salute the great Iranian people.
The first topic I wish to address is to commend the conduct of our dear people in the recent issue the country faced at the hands of its enemies. The Iranian people proved to be steadfast, courageous, and aware of the moment. The movement the people presented to the world on the day of Eid al-Ghadir was a great movement: the people's gatherings and their marches in recent days, their presence in Friday prayers and the subsequent marches, are all signs of the maturity of the Iranian people, the firmness of their rationality and spirituality, alongside the courage and good timing of our dear people. I thank Allah for granting this faithful nation such spiritual and Allah capabilities and potential, praise be to God. Here, I find it necessary to point to the beautiful and expressive act of that female television presenter in the face of the enemy's arrogance: her saying "Allahu Akbar" and showing the strength of the people to the whole world; this was a very historic and valuable incident.
The second topic is that this incident, the foolish and malicious attack by the zionist entity on our country, occurred while government officials were engaged in indirect negotiations, through an intermediary, with the American side. When one sees such things, one is truly astonished. Firstly, a threat is directed at someone who fears threats, whereas the Iranian people have proven that they do not tremble before the threats of threateners. "So do not weaken and do not grieve, and you will be superior if you are [true] believers."
Threats do not affect the behavior of the Iranian people nor their thinking. Secondly, to tell the Iranian people to come and surrender is not the word of a rational person. Wise people who know Iran, know the Iranian people, and know the history of Iran would never say such a thing. Surrender for what? The Iranian people are defiant against surrender.
