۱۴ مارس روز جهانی ریاضیات

شورای اجرایی سازمان یونسکو در دویست و پنجمین اجلاس خود، با توجه به نقش ریاضیات در پیشبرد سایر علوم بویژه در فهم مسائل بزرگ اجتماعی، زیست محیطی و معضلات مربوط به آنها مانند آثار تغییرات آب و هوایی، مبارزه با نابودی تنوع زیستی، پیش بینی و برآورد نیازهای رشد جمعیت از جمله غذا و کمک به یافتن راهکارهای علمی، ۱۴ مارس را به عنوان روز بین المللی ریاضیات نامگذاری کرد.

انتشارات دانشگاه کمبریج تعدادی از کتاب‌هایش را به دلیل شیوع ویروس کرونا بصورت آنلاین در دسترس قرار داده است. لینک حاوی ۵۴ کتاب در زمینه ریاضیات می‌باشد
