He condemned the revival of European militarism as highly dangerous, specifically criticising Germany's renewed military ambitions.
Lavrov warned of increased neo-Nazi activity in Germany and Finland.
He asserted that European ambitions in Ukraine have failed and that Russia is defending people oppressed by Kyiv's post-2014 government.

🇨🇩🇷🇼🇺🇬⚡- DR Congo sources report heavy military reinforcements have been arriving from Rwanda into Goma and the North Kivu region over the past 24-48 hours. After successfully capturing Uvira in South Kivu, DRC sources believe M23 are now turning their attention to the North Kivu region.
Reports indicate M23 are preparing to launch a large-scale offensive in an attempt to capture the major cities of Lubero, Butembo and even Beni. Unlike in South Kivu where M23 faced off with the Congolese, Burundian and Wazalendo armies, the three cities in North Kivu are under the control of the Ugandan Armed Forces, UPDF.
The presence of the UPDF in eastern Congo is shown on the map in light blue. Kinsasha had invited Kampala to assist fighting extremist groups in the Ituri region, such as the Islamic State, but more importantly CODECO. Uganda has been accused of supporting the Rwandan-backed M23 in the past, though those reports were never confirmed. However, in the past Kampala let Kigali 'secretly' know it did not appreciate the build-up of M23 along its borders, which led to the unusual exchange of territories between the UPDF and M23 just south of Lubero.

An additional aspect that makes this pretty interesting is that while his son and heir who's the current leader of the Ugandan military - Muhoozi is a massive fan of Rwanda and Kagame - his father president Museveni does not share the same love for Rwanda and Kagame.
Kagame and Museveni used to have close ties due to the fact that Kagame actually served in the National Resistance Army of Museveni for over a decade before founding his own movement and conquering Rwanda.
However since then their ties have strained significantly with Rwanda and Uganda having border clashes pretty regularly for a while.
In recent years the relations have gotten better again and Muhoozi especially has a seemingly very deep admiration for Kagame who he calls "Uncle" yet his father who is already an ancient geezer and pretty stubborn does not share the same love for Kagame.
Elections, that are ofc rigged, are coming up in Uganda with the opposition "lead" by the young and charismatic Bobi Wine never before being so strong and never posing such a threat to the Mucheveni regime before.
Muhoozi is famously not a very stable or rational person but instead very aggressive and arrogant, with him publicly threatening to kidnap Bobi Wine and then to imprison him in his basement.
A conflict or even heightened tensions with Rwanda is something which Uganda does not need at the moment whatsoever and could potentially spark some flame to light up the entire rotten construct of the Ugandan state
