🎉 Pixel 2 Community 2 Year Anniversary Special Post 🎉
Two years later, we are now nearly at the 4 digits milestone, a little pity that we are just a few more away but the two year anniversary came first. Anyway, just want to thank all of you who are currently supporting the community, it wouldn't be possible without you guys.

So Android 13 for both Pixel 2 models, nice to know it, big applause to @reallysnow for making it possible at first. Talking about Android versions, old is gold actually. If you haven't checked out the older versions before, you should give it a try if you can.

Pixel 2 series released back with Oreo, which have the legacy Material Design and most applications can still run at the time of posting, so daily driving it isn't a problem actually. Also, the phone works better as the OS itself is lighter compared to the newer versions. Anyway yeah, the option is up to you over here, that's just my personal opinion.

Being a 5 years old device, I heard some people are still using it as their daily driver, yeah, as long as your phone works properly, you should continue to use it. Too bad if you have faced issues like the camera not functioning, but let's see how many of you guys still have it going strong till today.

I don't have anything much to say over here, but fingers crossed the development won't be dead over the coming months and years to come, recently we also saw a new kernel released by our community members, nice to see that. Also just want to apologise if some ROMs post couldn't get post on time, have been getting busier than usual. 📁 LineageOS 19.1 Official Build Archive for Pixel 2 & Pixel 2 XL
Recently the Pixel 2 series has been promoted to receive official LineageOS 20 builds, which means there won't be any updates for the older 19.1 builds anymore.

A little unfortunate is that LineageOS isn't willing to keep any old builds available. Usually, only the last four builds will be kept on the server, which means after one month from now, you won't be able to get any 19.1 builds from their website anymore, hence this archive is made.

We also made an archive for all Pixel models which you can find over at the Google Pixel Development group. Feel free to share with those who need it one day.

To avoid any issues, we recommend you to downgrade your SDK Platform Tools to r33.0.3 until further notice, as some people had bootlooping issues when flashing factory images on Pixel phones.
