A pro-Israel group, 'StopAntisemitism', has named the popular Youtuber, teacher, and child advocate Ms. Rachel among its 2025 “top 10 antisemite” finalists, accusing her of amplifying Hamas propaganda through posts about child suffering, and fundraising efforts to help support child amputees and provide humanitarian relief to people in Gaza.

Throughout the year, the pro-Israel organization has accused her of being "funded by a foreign party to promote anti-Israeli rhetoric” after she used one of her videos to urge help for Gaza’s starving children.

Ms. Rachel has rejected those claims and called it absurd to frame concern for children’s safety as antisemitism.

The UN General Assembly has adopted two resolutions demanding Israel withdraw from occupied Arab territories, including the Palestinian lands taken since 1967 and the Syrian Golan.

In the first resolution, passed by 151 votes to 11, the Assembly called for a “peaceful settlement of the question of Palestine” and urged renewed, collective efforts to launch credible final-status negotiations. It backed convening an international conference in Moscow and pressed both sides to reverse worsening political conditions.

The text demanded Israel end its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, halt all settlement expansion, evacuate settlers, and withdraw fully from the territories occupied since 1967.

It rejected any demographic or territorial engineering in Gaza and stressed the need to reunify the Strip with the West Bank under the Palestinian Authority. It also reaffirmed the Palestinian right to self-determination and called for a just resolution of the refugee issue.

A second resolution, adopted by 123 votes to 7, declared Israel’s 1981 move to impose its laws on the occupied Syrian Golan “null and void” and urged its rescission.

It pressed Israel to resume talks on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks and demanded withdrawal to the 4 June 1967 line.

Israel’s UN envoy Danny Danon said on X that Tel Aviv will never withdraw to the 1967 lines and will not give up the occupied Syrian Golan at any point, reaffirming Israel’s rejection of any territorial reversal.

“The UN General Assembly once again proves how disconnected it is from reality.”

“Instead of addressing the crimes of the Iranian axis and the dangerous activities of militias in Syria, it demands that Israel withdraw from the Golan Heights - a vital defense line that protects our citizens.“

IDF Chief Says ‘Yellow Line’ In Gaza Is A ‘New Border’

Israel currently controls more than 50% of Gaza's territory and is eyeing a permanent occupation

The head of the Israeli military met with IDF troops in Gaza on Sunday and said the so-called “yellow line,” the vague boundary that separates the Israeli-occupied side of Gaza from the rest of the Strip, is a “new border,” suggesting Israel is planning a permanent occupation.

“We will not allow Hamas to reestablish itself. We control large parts of the Gaza Strip and stand along [strategic] lines. The Yellow Line is a new border line, a forward defensive line for the communities and an offensive line,” IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir told troops in Gaza, according to The Times of Israel .

Israeli troops currently occupy more than 50% of Gaza, and the IDF has continued to launch attacks across Gaza despite the US-backed ceasefire deal, killing more than 370 Palestinians since the truce was supposed to go into effect. The IDF regularly claims to kill Palestinians who crossed the yellow line, but it is not clearly marked on the ground, and Gaza residents have reported people being killed well beyond the boundary.

Under the US deal, Israel is supposed to pull back further from the yellow line as its troops are replaced by an international force, but there’s no sign of progress in developing that force as countries willing to participate are hesitant due to the lack of a clear mission and over concerns that their troops could end up fighting Hamas on behalf of Israel...

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on 2 December that Tel Aviv is open to a deal with Damascus but will not compromise its terms, one day after US President Donald Trump issued a veiled warning urging Israel against actions that “interfere with Syria’s evolution.”

“After 7 October, we are determined to defend our communities on our borders, including on the northern border, and to prevent the entrenchment of terrorists and hostile activities against us; to protect our Druze allies; and to ensure that Israel is secure from ground and other attacks from areas near the border,” Netanyahu said while visiting the soldiers who were injured in a rare resistance operation in southern Syria just days ago.

“What we expect Syria to do is, of course, to establish a demilitarized buffer zone from Damascus to the [Israeli-held] buffer zone, and of course the approaches to Mount Hermon and the Hermon summit,” the Israeli premier added.

“In a positive atmosphere and with understanding of these principles, it is also possible to reach an agreement with the Syrians – but we will stand by our principles in any case,” Netanyahu concluded.

Six Israeli soldiers were wounded in a resistance operation in southern Syria early on 28 November.

Hamas Official Says Group Willing To Discuss ‘Freezing Or Storing’ Its Weapons

Bassem Naim, a member of Hamas’s political bureau who is based outside of Gaza, told The Associated Press on Sunday that Hamas is willing to discuss the idea of “freezing or storing” its weapons to advance the US’s Gaza plan.

The 20-point US plan calls for the “demilitarization” of Gaza, and Israel has been demanding Hamas’s disarmament, but so far, Israel and Hamas have just signed a much narrower deal to enact a ceasefire, which Israel continues to violate , and the details of a long-term agreement still need to be worked out.

Naim reaffirmed Hamas’s position that it’s willing to disarm as part of a process that leads to a Palestinian state, something the Israeli government strongly opposes. But Naim added that Hamas was “very open-minded” about what it could do with its weapons and suggested some sort of temporary deal.

“We can talk about freezing or storing or laying down, with the Palestinian guarantees, not to use it at all during this ceasefire time or truce,” Naim told AP during an interview in Doha, Qatar.

The Hamas official also said the group supports the idea of an international peacekeeping force being deployed to Gaza, but not one that’s tasked with disarmament.

World’s Largest Pension Fund Demands Microsoft Disclose Its Dealings With Israel

The US tech giant has been accused of allowing Israel to use its cloud and AI services to fuel the genocide in Gaza

Norway’s $2-trillion sovereign wealth fund announced on 2 December that it is stepping up pressure on Microsoft over human rights concerns linked to the Israeli army’s actions in Gaza, backing a shareholder demand for greater transparency on the company’s global operations.

The sovereign wealth fund, the largest in the world, said it will vote in favor of a proposal calling on Microsoft to publish a report outlining human rights risks in countries where its products are used in contexts of “significant” rights abuses.

The proposal, submitted by the shareholder group EICO, will be presented at Microsoft’s annual general meeting on 5 December.

Its intervention follows reports that Microsoft’s software and cloud tools were deployed by the Israeli military in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, prompting renewed scrutiny of the company’s role in a war marked by widespread allegations of war crimes.

The fund said Microsoft must disclose how it identifies human rights dangers in sensitive markets, and explain whether its internal controls are effective. It stressed that boards cannot ignore the environmental and social impact of the products they approve.

⭕️ Guinness World Records reportedly halts submissions from Israel

Israeli media says Guinness World Records has stopped accepting submissions from Israel and the Palestinian territories, after an Israeli charity disclosed that the organization informed them it would not process entries from either area, according to Channel 12 and the Times of Israel.

The Times of Israel reported that the group learned of the decision after contacting Guinness about participating in an upcoming edition of the record book.

Israeli outlets described the move as a sweeping suspension of all submissions linked to Israel.

Right-wing Israeli commentators framed the development as a boycott, while Guinness has not publicly issued a detailed explanation or policy statement on the matter, according to the same reports.

❗️Ex-UK Special Forces officer alleges SAS committed war crimes in Afghanistan

A former UK Special Forces officer has testified that British troops committed war crimes in Afghanistan while senior commanders suppressed evidence of extrajudicial killings by SAS units. Speaking under the pseudonym N1466, the officer told the Independent Inquiry into Afghanistan that as early as 2011 he recognized a “strong potential of criminal behavior” by SAS personnel, but the chain of command opted for internal reviews instead of criminal investigations.

N1466 detailed how extrajudicial shootings, including the deaths of two small children, continued until 2013 due to leadership inaction. He described a deliberate effort by the then-director of Special Forces to cover up the crimes, commissioning internal reviews as a “warning shot” rather than reporting incidents to military police.

The 2023 inquiry, led by Lord Justice Haddon-Cave, claims that around 80 people were summarily killed by three different SAS units.

N1466 said multiple senior leaders were aware of the abuses but actively suppressed allegations. Despite 20 years of NATO military operations aimed at defeating the Taliban and combating terrorism, the occupation left Afghanistan devastated, with violence and Taliban rule ultimately persisting.
