Children of the northern Gaza Strip staged a protest in the streets amidst a worsening famine due to the occupation's blockage of aid, comprehensive siege, and the UN WFP's suspension of food aid to Gaza.
"We can't find anything to eat. Give us anything."
A father stated, "Bring us flour. We haven't seen bread for two months. At least bring us wheat so we can grind it like our ancestors."
A mother added, "My daughter tried to eat her hand out of hunger."
The children chanted, "We want flour," stating that "hunger began to eat our flesh and bodies," and called on the world to do anything to ensure the entry of food aid and life necessities.
A young girl delivered a speech:
"A message of hunger and oppression from the people of the northern Strip to the free people of the world. We came out today to raise our voices loudly through this peaceful march after hunger began to eat our flesh and bodies.
"We appeal to the world, to the whole world, to look at us with eyes of mercy and compassion and to do everything they can to save us and enter humanitarian supplies and basic necessities, especially flour, and the lifting of injustice and oppression, which is unprecedented in modern human history. Otherwise, we won't wait long until we die of hunger and go with our shrouds to the Beit Hanoun ['Erez'] crossing. Either we survive with what we eat, or we die with dignity, pride, and honor.
"So O free people of the world, help us, and may Allah help you in return. Lift this injustice quickly, for the moment will come for you where you will not find what will save us."

The typically quiet area has not seen intense combat since January 9th, when the Martyr Izz El-Din Al-Qassam Brigades carried out 6 operations in the south of the neighborhood. The National Resistance Brigades also carried out a series of operations in its south and east in mid-January, while the neighborhood was quiet for two weeks before that.
However, the resistance appears to have been lying in wait. Sporadically, clashes erupted in the area across factions, with a total of 9 reported clashes or operations, and even a downed drone, from the last time RNN reported a significant resurgence in clashes in the northern Gaza Strip exactly one month ago until this morning.
Today alone, 14 operations were reported across all factions in Al-Zaytoun, as the IOF declared the beginning of a new weeks-long operation in the area after claiming repeatedly and over several weeks that it had "complete control" over the northern Gaza Strip.

With Allah's success, our fighters in the Jenin Brigade and its various formations engaged in armed clashes against the forces of the occupation army. This included the detonation of several explosive devices.
It is known that the enemy initiated the incursion with special forces that infiltrated in civilian cars, which were discovered and dealt with, followed by army forces. The confrontation continued from late last night until the early hours of this morning.
Our fighters confirmed direct hits on enemy forces and their vehicles,
and it is indeed a jihad of victory or martyrdom.
