Today, Israel marks the National Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the October 7, 2023 Massacre and the Swords of Iron War (the official name given to the October 7 War)
Observed each year on 24 Tishrei, the Hebrew date of October 7, 2023, its Gregorian equivalent changes annually (October 16 in 2025). This day is a time to remember the victims, honor the fallen, and recognize a nation that stood united in the face of unimaginable tragedy, with courage, and resilience. Israel did not start this war. Israel did not want this war. It was a war of profound loss, with many heroes fallen and countless lives forever changed. May the victims memories forever be a blessing. 🕯️🎗️

The people of Gaza have suffered terribly under Hamas’ brutal rule and will continue to suffer as long as Hamas remains in power. Hamas crushes dissent with violence, targeting and even brutally murdering those who dare to speak or act out against its regime or terror.
Where are the crowds who claimed to care about the lives of Palestinians?
Will the mainstream media tell this story, or does it not fit the narrative?

Eulogy by Matan Angrest for his tank commander, Captain Daniel Perez.
Just two days after being released from over two years in Hamas captivity in Gaza, Matan Angrest attended the funeral of his tank commander, Captain Daniel Perez (22).
Daniel was killed and then kidnapped on October 7, 2023, while courageously defending southern Israel from Hamas terrorists who infiltrated the border.
Matan, Daniel, Tomer Leibovitz, and Itay Chen fought side by side that day, a tank crew bound by bravery and brotherhood. Tomer, Daniel, and Itay were killed in the massacre. Itay, an American-Israeli, remains held hostage in Gaza. On October 13, Daniel was returned to Israel and yesterday (October 15) he was laid to rest.
May their memories forever be a blessing. 🕯️

StandWithUs UK Statement on Arrest of Oxford Student for Inciting Hate
StandWithUs UK welcomes the swift action taken by law enforcement and the University of Oxford following the arrest of a student who was filmed chanting inflammatory and hateful messages during a protest in London on 11 October 2025.
The language used in these chants was not political expression but an incitement of hate that targets Jewish people and those who support the right of Israel to exist. Such rhetoric fuels fear within the Jewish community and contributes to a toxic atmosphere on British campuses.
This incident demonstrates why our Voice of Students recommendations are urgently needed. In particular:
Recognition – Institutions must acknowledge the clear link between anti-Zionism and antisemitism. Denying Jewish people the right to national self-determination or using “Zionist” as a slur perpetuates prejudice.
Accountability – Universities must act decisively and transparently when hate speech occurs within their communities.
Expulsion – Those who promote or incite hatred and violence against any group should face firm disciplinary measures, including expulsion when appropriate.
When British students celebrate a massacre, it is first and foremost a national problem. It is not just a Jewish problem. A society that rejoices in the murder of human beings is a society in moral collapse.
We call on all universities across the United Kingdom to adopt policies that ensure Jewish students feel safe, supported and respected on campus. Words of hate have no place in our academic institutions.
StandWithUs UK remains committed to empowering students to stand up against antisemitism and to promoting understanding through education.

RT @ArgamaniNoa: Two years. Two years passed since the last moment I saw Avinatan, the love of my life. Two years since the moment terrorists kidnapped us, put me on a motorcycle, and tore me away from Avinatan before the eyes of the entire world.
From that moment, our journey in captivity was separated. I was held captive with children, women, and the elderly, while Avinatan was held alone. I was mostly kept inside houses, while Avinatan was only in the tunnels. Hamas released videos and signs of life from me, while there was no information at all about Avinatan. I was held captive by Hamas for 246 days, while Avinatan was held for 738 days. I came back in a heroic rescue operation, and Avinatan returned in a deal.
But both of us, against all odds, came home and were reunited!
I cannot put into words the range of emotions I felt when I saw him for the first time after so long. Each of us faced death countless times, and yet, after two years apart, we are finally taking our first steps together again in the State of Israel.
At last, we can begin our healing together. The recovery will be long; we still haven’t truly processed what has happened here over these past two years. But we won. We won our personal war, and the war of all those who fought alongside us to reach this moment. And now, the time has come to begin our shared journey together.
I want to say a huge thank you, first and foremost, to the @IDF soldiers and security forces who have been fighting for so long and risk their lives for us every single day. Thank you to our family, friends, and to the people of Israel, Am
Yisrael, who raised their voices when we couldn’t speak. To the people around the world who embraced us, to all the incredible individuals who supported us through the hardest times and never lost hope throughout this long period. To the US government, which opened its doors to me and was always there to listen, especially @SEPeaceMissions Steve Witkoff, @jaredkushner, and the exceptional, President @realDonaldTrump.
To all the people who too stood beside our hostages and understood that light must overcome darkness.
We will never forget the fallen and the murdered, and we will not stop fighting until every fallen soldier and hostage is brought home for a proper burial in Israel.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
This could never have happened without you.
We are back ❤️
