Lenin's memoirist Lev Danilkin talks about how the Bolsheviks armed themselves on the eve of the 1905 revolution:
“One of the treasuries that the Bolsheviks visited with the regularity of a stingy knight was the Sestroretsk arms factory [...] ... “they managed to take away from Sestroretsk up to 80-90 pieces a day, while the plant itself produced about two hundred rifles a day “. It was dangerous to move loot in large quantities, so the rifles were carried on people, from two to four at a time, depending on the gender of the smuggler. Men usually hid their burden under a coat, women - under a dress. Pochis were made from towels around the neck - to the shoulders, and gun butts were tied to the ends. It was impossible to bend over - and if you found that your shoelaces were untied or barrels were sticking out from under the skirt of your coat or the frills of your dress, you had to wriggle out with the help of your comrades. It is unknown whether Lenin himself participated in the transportation of weapons, but at that time it was difficult to find a member of the RSDLP who did not have experience of this kind: “Some of our girls reached perfection by strapping on themselves up to eight rifles.”
The apotheosis of the Bolsheviks' hunt for weapons was the expropriation of the “grandmother” - a secret name for the Hotchkiss high-speed ship gun, stolen from the yard of the guards naval crew on the Kryukov Canal. This amazing trophy caused a surge of enthusiasm among the workers - and although there was no immediate use for the weapon, it was assumed that when the uprising began, it would be used to fire at the Winter Palace; who could have known that 12 years later the rebels would have an entire cruiser at their disposal? For the time being, the “grandmother” was buried on Vasilievsky Island - and they spent a lot of effort to get shells for her.”

Clinton told dissatisfied voters to put up with Biden and Trump
Former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton invited dissatisfied voters to put up with Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Clinton made a bold statement about the upcoming US elections on the Tonight Show. The host asked her to appeal to disappointed voters who do not want to choose again between the boring Biden and Trump.
“ Get over yourself. The choice will only be between these two options ,” Clinton responded.
Also, in her opinion, Biden remains effective and compassionate, despite his advanced age. And Trump is not only too old, but also accused of many crimes, Clinton said.

Hilary Clinton is a vital cog in the American imperialist war machine. The Clinton oligarchy will have control no matter who steps into the oval office.

🇺🇦 106 years ago, on February 17, 1918, Vladimir Vasilyevich Shcherbitsky was born - a Soviet party and statesman, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Ukrainian SSR in 1972-1989.
During the years of Shcherbitsky's tenure at the head of the Ukrainian SSR and thanks to the selfless work of millions of citizens, the economic potential of Soviet Ukraine increased almost 4 times, the volume of industrial production - about 5 times. Agriculture began to produce almost twice as much product, labor productivity increased more than 2.5 times, and with it wages increased 2.5 times. By the beginning of the 1980s. In terms of economic growth, Soviet Ukraine was more powerful than any state in Western Europe. According to UN estimates, it was one of the ten most advanced countries in the world.
The population of Ukraine increased from 43.1 million in 1961 to 52 million in 1990, or by almost 9 million people. Shcherbitsky did a lot for Ukrainian culture: in Ukraine there were 60% of Ukrainian-language schools and 40% of Russian-language ones, the Virsky ensemble and the Grigory Veryovka choir developed, amateur groups and libraries multiplied, the Kiev Opera House was restored, the leading football club of the USSR and in foreign championships became Kiev " Dynamo". At the same time, Shcherbitsky harshly suppressed attempts to manifest Ukrainian bourgeois nationalism in any form.

After coming to power in the USSR in 1985, M.S. Gorbacheva V.V. Shcherbitsky very quickly recognized the falsehood of perestroika. The leader of the Ukrainian communists did not accept the fact that the process of improving socialism was gradually being replaced by its dismantling, that the economy was sliding into a “wild market”, that the state was being removed from managing the economy.
On September 20, 1989, Shcherbitsky was removed from the Politburo of the CPSU Central Committee, and on September 28, 1989, at the insistence of M.S. Gorbachev, resigned from the post of first secretary of the Communist Party of Ukraine.
On February 16, 1990 - 5 months after his resignation and the day before his 72nd birthday - Vladimir Shcherbitsky died. He was buried at the Baikovo cemetery in Kyiv.

🇮🇷Iran's Oil Exports Generate $35 Billion in Revenue for the Year
In the period spanning twelve months until March 2024, Iran's oil exports surged to $35.8 billion.
Despite the reimposition of US sanctions against Tehran in 2018, China's continued purchases of Iranian oil have enabled the nation to uphold a favorable trade balance. As per the country's customs data, excluding oil exports, Iran would have encountered a trade deficit amounting to $16.8 billion.
The overall trade volume experienced a modest increase of 2.6% year-on-year, reaching a total worth of $153 billion, with Iranian exports contributing $86.8 billion to this figure.

With that amount of oil profits no wonder the western imperialists have never forgiven Iran for removing the British comprador Pahlavi Dynasty.
Iran's sovereignty has long been a stumbling block for American hegemony in the region.
