"They talk about the failure of socialism but where is the success of capitalism in Africa, Asia and Latin America? We are not a wealthy country. We cannot pay our athletes, and yet, they stay in our country, they prefer the respect of their people. But we do not blame the others. We believe in a different form of internationalism. We believe we should help the people of Africa and Asia and Latin America fight against imperialists, monopolists, oligarchs, exploiters. We have modestly helped with what we have, our physicians, our teachers, our soldiers, our resources, our blood. Yet, we sleep with a clear conscience. If we joined the international market, we would have to compete with other countries. We are not afraid of competition. It is others who are afraid. They are afraid of competition from us in areas we excel in. And we excel in human values."

The origins and role of Trotskyism is greatly misunderstood by workers in Britain and all over the world. What is it really and whose interests does it serve?

🇨🇳👵🏻🧓🏻 Chinese city to give workers paid leave to care for elderly parents
Yangzhou, Jiangsu Province, has adopted a new policy aimed at improving the lives of older people.
The program is said to be the first of its kind in the country. It covers a range of areas, including elderly care, health insurance, transportation, and labor law. The policy will go into effect on January 1, 2025.
Workers will now be ennoscriptd to five days of paid annual leave to care for elderly parents hospitalised with illness.
Under the policy, residents over 65 will receive free access to attractions and public transport, as well as allocated seats on buses, trains and discounted services at stations. Previously, only residents over 70 enjoyed such preferences.
