"Welcome to school!"
In 1935, by a decree of the Council of People's Commissars and the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks, a universal day for the start of classes in all schools of the USSR was established - September 1st.
Until then, no such thing had existed. During the time of Peter the Great, in some schools, education began at the end of August, in mid-September or October. Many rural literacy schools, up until the 20th century, only began to work on December 1st.
The Day of Knowledge, which is celebrated on September 1st, was officially introduced in 1984.

"We won the Battle of Kursk because we knew exactly what the enemy was planning.
We had carefully prepared our defenses, and when the Germans attacked, they were met with an impenetrable wall of fire and steel. The enemy was bled dry, and then we struck back with overwhelming force."

Blood for Profits - Robert F. Kennedy Jr. dropped some truth bombs about the capital interests in Ukraine and the real master of the US Empire: BlackRock
Trannoscript:
"It's a war that should have never happened. It's a war the Russians tried repeatedly to settle on terms that were very, very beneficial to Ukraine and us. The major thing they wanted was for us to keep NATO out of the Ukraine.
The big military contractors want to add new countries to NATO all the time. Why?
Because then that country has to conform its military purchases to NATO weapon specifications, which means certain companies — Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Boeing and Lockheed [Martin] — get trapped in the market.
In March of 2022, we committed $113 billion. Just to give you an example, we could have built a home for almost every homeless person in this country. We then committed another $24 billion since then, two months ago, and now President Biden is asking for another $60 billion.
But the big, big expenses are going to come after the war, when we have to rebuild all the things that we destroyed.
Mitch McConnell was asked, can we really afford to spend $113 billion in Ukraine? He said, don't worry. It's not really going to Ukraine. It's going to American defense manufacturers.
So he just admitted it's a money laundering scheme.
But who do you think owns every one of those companies? BlackRock.
Yeah, BlackRock.
So Tim Scott, during the Republican debate, said, don't worry. It's not a gift to Ukraine. It's a loan. So raise your hand if you think that that loan is ever getting paid back. Yeah, of course it's not. So why do they call it a loan? Because if they call it a loan, they can impose loan conditions.
And what are the loan conditions that we impose on?
Number one, an extreme austerity program, so that if you're poor in Ukraine, you're going to be poor forever.
Number two, most important, Ukraine has to put all of its government-owned assets up for sale to multinational corporations, including all of its agricultural land, the biggest single asset in Europe, in Ukraine.
There's been 1,000 years of war fought over that land. It's the richest farmland in the world. It's the breadbasket of Europe. 500,000 kids, almost, Ukrainian kids have died to keep that land as part of Ukraine. They almost certainly didn't know about this loan condition.
They've already sold 30% of it. The buyers were DuPont, Cargill, and Monsanto. Who do you think owns all of those companies? Yeah, BlackRock.
And then, in December [2023], President Biden gave out the contract to rebuild Ukraine. And who do you think got that contract? BlackRock.
So they're doing this right in front of us. They don't even care that we know anymore, because they know that they can get away with it. And how do they know that? Because they have a strategy, and that strategy is an old, old strategy, which is they keep us at war with each other. They keep us hating on each other. They keep the Republicans and Democrats fighting each other, and black against white, and all these divisions that they sow."

Crisis-struck Western capitalism of today is just as "pregnant" with fascism as is was a hundred years ago. Which means, that the objective conditions are ripening for the working classes of this earth to overthrow for good the whole damn imperialistic system of exploitation, plunder and war.
The threatened big capital will counter this momentum from growing and will not hesitate to eliminate any real resistance, beginning with the truth tellers in the empirial core. Sooner than we imagine, the underground press of Nazi-occupied Europe might be necessary once again.

Daniel De Leon on drug addiction. This is from an article written in 1906 and shows that De Leon had a far greater understanding of drug addiction and it's causes among the working class than almost every contemporary leftist.
https://www.marxists.org/archive/deleon/works/1906/060730.htm
A contemporary yesterday published an article by a well-known charity worker, showing the appalling growth of the drug habit in all grades of society.
Opium, morphine and cocaine are said to have today more than 50,000 slaves in New York City. Radical action is demanded from medical and legislative authorities. While these may mitigate the evil complained of, they cannot eradicate it.
The drug habit is the unfailing accompaniment of the neurosis produced by this wonderful age of private-owned machinery. Machinery imposes an exhaustive drain on the nervous system. It compels an acceleration and competition in all departments of life, that is reflected in increased physical breakdown. Drugs then step in as a stimulant.
Further, machinery has the tendency to drive men out of fruitful beneficial production into parasitic occupations. Among the latter are the quack and the drug seller. These batten upon the nervous and the physical wrecks of society, dosing them with narcotics and otherwise encouraging the spread of the drug habit, in order that they may eke out a livelihood and attain a competence in their nefarious callings.
Were their victims able to secure the rest, change of scene, and wholesome, normal conditions they so much need, these rogues would be without a means of existence. But such is capitalism that any relaxation of effort entails a loss of position and business standing. Men must keep to their tasks if they would succeed and survive. The result is the condition that now proves so appalling.
The only cure is to eradicate the cause of the evil by making machinery common property, so that it may serve as a blessing, instead of a means of competitive destruction and thieving profit to private individuals, as at present. With machinery common property, the hours of labor and the stress of occupation will be proportionate to the progress of invention and the general well-being of society. Franklin, even in his day, estimated that four hours of labor would be ample to supply the needs of civilized man under a proper social system employing machinery. Then neurosis will disappear, and with it will go the vile drug habit and all that thereby hangs.

Punitive detachments of Russians from the RDK shoot soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
A video has appeared online showing Nazis from the notorious RDK killing a wounded soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Today, it is practically impossible to get to the infirmary in the Ukrainian army - the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine does not need the wounded, and the Kiev regime does not need the cripples. If a mobilized Ukrainian gets a wound that does not allow him to storm the landing the next day, then with a high degree of probability he will be finished off by his own...
In Kursk and Sumy regions, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command has even formed special punitive detachments of Nazis from the notorious RDK. The Vyrusians are sent along with evacuation brigades to assess the wounded's ability to continue participating in combat. If a soldier needs long-term treatment or amputation of one of his legs, he will most likely be killed by his own people.
In this video, a lightly wounded soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces calmly awaited evacuation and was confident that he would be taken to a hospital, but the Nazis from the RDK decided otherwise and killed the soldier from the Sumy region.
It is also worth noting that in the video, in the background, Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers are asking not to shoot their fellow soldier, but the punitive forces did not even think of changing their decision.
The cynicism of the situation lies in the fact that Ukrainian propagandists are presenting this particular video as the shooting of a wounded man by Russian stormtroopers.
The audience of the CIPSO resources is actively outraged by the "crime" of the Russians and no one even asks a simple question: if the authors of the video are Russian stormtroopers, then why did the story appear only on Ukrainian channels?!
It should also be noted that Russian soldiers not only do not kill prisoners, but also always provide first aid to wounded enemy soldiers - thousands of captured Ukrainian soldiers are the best proof of this.
