More signs of the great friendship between the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Russia. As of today, the world’s longest train journey, from Moscow to Pyongyang, has officially resumed.

This bi-monthly journey spans 6,213 miles and takes 8 days to complete, crossing a vast Eurasian landmass. It’s more than a logistical feat — it symbolises the deepening ties between the two nations.

Now united by military cooperation, transport links, and fraternal solidarity, the bond between Russia and the DPRK continues to strengthen in the face of imperialist hostility.

As Marxist-Leninist's, we should welcome these deepening ties between two anti-imperialist nations. They represent a growing rejection of the hegemonic dominance of US led western imperialism and signal the possibility of a multipolar world rooted in sovereignty and resistance to exploitation. Such alliances lay the groundwork for a more hopeful future for the international working class.

If the workers of all Arabic, Persian and African Nations could unite against the cancerous tumour from West Asia it would be obliterated from existence.
