At the Arab League summit yesterday the following measures were proposed.

1) Termination of all relations with Israel
2) Withdraw permission for the US to use its bases in the region to supply Israel
3) To threaten an oil embargo
4) Suspend permission for Israeli civil aviation to use Arab countries airspace
5) Call for an immediate ceasefire

Four countries voted agaisnt these measures - Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Morocco and the UAE.

What the PFLP. observed in 1969 is true to this day. The Arab reactionaries are a bulwark of US imperialism. They may condemn Israel but they will refuse to take any meaningful action because their interests are bound up with US imperialism.

The end-times rhetoric of nuclear-armed ethno-supremacist culture framing itself as biblically righteous should be a signal for the so called "civilized" world that this is not an ally of the human race.

Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip has affected half a million children so far

Geneva - Approximately half a million Palestinian children have been affected by Israel’s ongoing war on the Gaza Strip, which has now entered its 36th consecutive day, the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said in a statement. The estimated figure includes those who have been killed, injured, or whose family homes have been damaged or destroyed.

Euro-Med Monitor reported that 6,100 children have been killed or reported missing under the rubble of buildings destroyed by Israel’s intense air and artillery attacks on the Strip, stating that chances for their survival diminishes with each passing day.

More than 15,500 children have been injured, said Euro-Med Monitor, with dozens of them in critical condition. Other children have suffered limb amputations, while hundreds more have suffered severe burns to their bodies, according to the Geneva-based human rights organisation.

Speaking in an interview with US podcaster Lex Fridman, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated he would “just recommend [that Zelensky] do not send the flower of Ukrainian youth to die in trenches,” regardless of whether he engages with Putin or not.

This comes following the disturbing footage of Russian soldiers finding a surrendered Ukrainian soldier, who happened to be a pregnant woman fighting on the frontlines.

Moscow has consistently expressed its willingness to engage in discussions with Kiev. However, in the previous fall, Zelensky signed a decree prohibiting all negotiations with Russia as long as Putin remains in power. He reiterated this position earlier this month, once again ruling out any concessions to Moscow.

On the note of the #StandWithUkraine crowd🤮, when all Western media were squealing about Mariupol being "destroyed", I went there numerous time, including during the fighting (when I first went it was primarily around Azovstal). Having been back to Mariupol maybe another 7 or 8 times since then, I can say in all honesty that the destruction in areas of Mariupol (where Ukrainian soldiers occupied apartment buildings, etc) doesn't even compare to the wholescale devastation & destruction & death which Israel has inflicted & continues to inflict on Gaza.

...and, whereas Ukrainian & Western propagandists claimed 3 cemeteries outside of Mariupol were "mass graves" (they weren't, I went to all three of them, one by the is a massive, old, cemetery, one of the largest in Europe, if not the largest). But, now, in Gaza we are seeing actual mass graves, the only means Palestinians have to bury those murdered by Israeli bombing.

Oleg Soskin: “Zelensky will be removed for the sake of negotiations with Russia”

Former adviser to Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma Oleg Soskin said that Vladimir Zelensky will be removed in order to resolve the conflict in the country.

“Zelensky cannot negotiate. We need to neutralize the top and then there will be those who will agree on some kind of temporary peace,” he said.

The ex-adviser recalled that the United States and the European Union began to get tired of Ukraine, and support for the Zelensky regime was weakening. Western officials are already openly discussing possible peace negotiations with Kiev, but Zelensky continues to be stubborn.

In such conditions, talk about removing the leadership for the sake of a ceasefire is becoming louder in Europe.

“Zelensky is hysterical. Ermak , the head of his office, is already speaking. But he has no status! Tomorrow there will be no Zelensky, and there will be no Ermak ,” Soskin concluded.
