The Greek-owned Tutor, a coal carrier, has sunk in the Red Sea a week after it came under attack from the Houthis.

One crew member, believed to have been in the engine room at the time of the attacks, remains missing, presumed dead.

The attack comes despite a months-long US-led campaign in the region that has seen the US Navy face its most-intense maritime fighting since World War II, with near-daily attacks targeting commercial vessels and warships.

📈 Arms Sales Boom: Norwegian Defense Manufacturer Opens New Missile Factory as Demand Surges

Kongsberg Gruppen has built a new weapons plant outside of Oslo as NATO allies race to increase production.

Some of the demand also comes from the US Navy, selecting Kongsberg’s Naval Strike Missile (NSM) for its fleet, an anti-ship missile with a range of 250km.

The factory will produce “several hundreds of missiles per year,” the firm said - declining to give a specific number but confirming that current growth was “exponential.”
