WA: Additional details emerge regarding the incidents at election offices on Wednesday. A series of suspicious letters were sent to multiple election offices, some of which contained a white powder substance. In the letter sent to Spokane County, the substance was identified as fentanyl. In the letter sent to Pierce County, the substance was baking soda. In addition to the letters sent in Washington, the FBI has indicated that letters were also received at election facilities in Oregon, California, Nevada, and Georgia. All of the letters reportedly included direct threats to election drop boxes, and contained general sentiments calling for the removal of elections. In the Pierce County letter (the only one released to the public so far) several ANTIFA symbols, verbiage, and slogans were present in the text.
NJ: J6 participant Gregory Yetman is in custody following a multi-day manhunt that resulted from the FBI being unable to locate him to serve a warrant for his presence at the events at the US Capitol on J6. AC: Yetman was reportedly not part of initial J6 targeting. In March, USA Today doxed him based on photographs and open-source methods, which resulted in targeting by the FBI. It is important to note that per USA Today’s own reporting, Yetman had already been identified and interrogated by the FBI for his actions on J6, with no charges being filed. This new manhunt appears to not be based on any new evidence, but rather the direct result of media corporations heavily influencing the FBI.

Election targeting will likely continue as before, as evidence of electoral irregularities becomes a norm. More direct election harassment from independent groups is extremely likely as 2024 approaches.
Since J6, thousands of “journalists” have been combing tens of thousands of photos in an attempt to aid federal investigators, and even prompt investigations where none existed prior. Over 1,000 arrests have been made, and continue to be made as more citizens become identified via official investigations, or via doxing by media companies.

On social media, much of the discourse surrounding the conflict in Gaza has effectively been discouraged. Hamas has published many videos showing ATGM attacks on tanks, so the IDF’s hesitance to admit to casualties is a strong indicator that casualties are likely higher than anticipated. As many demonstrations continue around the world, complex social issues dominate and confuse the situation. The “enemy of my enemy” mindset is not accurate in describing the social concerns that are resulting in protests around Europe. Pro-Palestine protests draw both extreme-left, and extreme-right protestors. For instance, both ANTIFA and Far-Right groups have demonstrated support for Palestine…two groups that have historically had an adversarial relationship. Likewise, some Pro-Palestine protests draw significant Anti-Immigration groups, which also do not support Israel. Israeli rhetoric remains extremely inflammatory. For instance, in a televised interview a few days ago Israeli Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir stated: "To be clear, when we say that Hamas should be destroyed, it also means those who celebrate, those who support & those who hand out candy. They're all terrorists and they should also be destroyed". This highlights what has been indicated by thousands of similar statements from dozens of Israeli government officials, that the targeting of civilians in Palestine is deliberate due to Israel not distinguishing between militants and noncombatants. This is almost certainly why the CIVCAS in this conflict has been proportionately higher than any war in recent memory. At best, Israel by their own admission does not care about CIVCAS; at worst, the IDF is deliberately targeting civilians.
Conversely, Pro-Palestine demonstrations around the world remain high-risk events for everyday citizens as cultures clash. Most of the world being revolted by the deliberate targeting of civilians is expected…this is why Pro-Palestine protests have had such a universal message to many different cultures. However, as more diverging cultures take part in Pro-Palestine protests, conflicts are likely as the recent calls for humanitarianism are probably not uniting enough to stifle deeply-set cultural grievances over time.

European Front: The Guardian removes Bin Laden’s Letter to America from their website, which was posted to their website over 20 years ago. This letter went viral on TikTok a few days ago, resulting in the removal of this document due to the implications contained in the text. Note on sources: The “Letter to America” that has been mentioned in several viral videos is not the “Letter to America” that was taken down. Bin Laden wrote multiple open letters to the American public, and many of the viral videos mention one of his final letters, which mentions Obama being president, and therefore cannot be a 20 year old document. Regarding the recent ATF actions, in usual fashion the ATF’s declaration is extremely vague and subjective. It is unclear as to how this ban will affect maritime safety devices, which are mandated by the USCG on most classes of vessel. It is also unclear as to how this will affect consumer grade fireworks, the HVAC repair industry, or the film industry due to the vague wording on potential exemptions. Middle East Front: Questions mount as BBC coverage of recent Israeli actions casts doubt on official narratives. As Israel consolidates the northern pocket around Gaza City, very little evidence surfaces of what was allegedly a Hamas stronghold under al Shifa Hospital. AC: Hamas almost certainly uses every subterranean structure in Gaza, to some degree. MSM reporting has indicated that this degree is somewhat overstated by Israeli forces. Finding ~10 rifles does seem to confirm Hamas presence…but this is not evidence of what is supposed to be a major stronghold. Of course, the grand question remains: How much equipment is being moved prior to Israeli forces overrunning Hamas positions? At this time, this cannot be known. However, most Counterinsurgency (COIN) doctrine indicates that the withdrawal of equipment is probably unlikely, as most militants tend to emplace weapons in caches, moving between each cache unarmed. This would mean that if Hamas used a location, there would likely be substantial evidence of it. However, the lack of clarity of the situation on the ground is likely playing a factor as well; for every known COIN tactic, there is an alternative opinion. For instance, the IDF has only identified a few rocket launch sites, yet we know Hamas uses these munitions as their main ranged weapons.

USA: Pro-Palestine protests begin to increase in severity. The DNC HQ in Washington D.C. was targeted by demonstrators, along with many key landmarks around the city. Public transportation services have consistently been disrupted due to demonstrations in many major US cities.
On Twitter/X, Elon Musk reverses his content moderation position on the conflict in Gaza as advertisers threaten to remove advertising accounts. This follows Musk’s recent observations on the severe rhetoric on the platform. AC: In less than 24 hours after Musk’s comments, X will now begin suspending accounts that post Pro-Palestine phrases. It is unclear as to if the severe rhetoric that prompted Musk’s original comments will also be deleted.

Admin Note for Posterity: As mentioned previously, the Israel/Palestine conflict is one of the oldest and most severe conflicts in human history. This results in anyone who gets too close to the issue being targeted by organized governmental action, private companies, or cancel culture from one’s own supporter base.
Unlike the Ukrainian War, in which some level of dissenting opinion was socially acceptable (if nothing else on a technical and tactical level), in this conflict neutrality is not socially acceptable by either side. On the one hand, most who are not 110% supportive of Israel will likely face dire financial consequences. On the other hand, Pro-Palestine movements and groups do not necessarily embody a worldview that is compatible with much of western society. For now, the calls for the cessation of the targeting of civilians are a uniting factor for most of the world…but in due time age-old cultural differences will begin to fracture this unity, and result in more conflict than before.
As such, most journalistic content regarding this conflict has never been more carefully worded. This will likely result in future coverage of the Gaza war (more specifically the information war) being watered-down or slowing as the risks of sharing information unfortunately outweigh the necessity of sharing the whole truth. After several years of people losing their jobs for doing what they believe is right, with very few people willing to support such endeavors in the long run, the coverage of the most intensely vitriolic topic in human history is not something to be taken lightly.

Though the House Speaker claims to have authorized the release of almost 44,000 hours of footage, at this time only 89 videos have been released comprising of 12 hours, 35 minutes, and 25 seconds of footage. If the 44,000 hours are intended to be the final goal for release, this means that 0.03% of the tapes have been released. Additionally, the Committee on House Administration uploaded these files to their Dropbox page, last editing them on September 7th, 2023. AC: Theoretically, if keeping the same upload schedule as demonstrated so far, and if an equal amount of footage is uploaded today, simple arithmetic indicates that roughly 12.5 hours of footage being released every 74 days means that it will take approximately 713.64 years for all of the files to be released. Using a more representative scenario, assuming the release of these tapes was the first action of Speaker Johnson (which it wasn’t, his first official action was to support a resolution in support of Israel), it still took 25 days to release 12.5 hours of footage. Using these figures, it would take 241 years to release the full archive. It is possible that other tapes have been released on other platforms, however, per the Committee on House Administration website, this is the total amount of footage released so far.

However, follow on reporting after the incident indicates he noted pain in his arm, collapsed soon afterward, and was hospitalized for nausea, cramps, and dizziness, with ER doctors noting an injection mark on his arm.

USA: MSM becomes aware of the Data Analytical Services (DAS) program via a Congressional letter sent to AG Garland. This is a secret surveillance program that allows LE at local, state, and federal levels to conduct intelligence collection on every phone number in the US without a warrant. Right now, this rather unexpected and grave security revelation has not been pressed by the MSM, despite the possibly Watergate-level nature of this leak. As these statements carry extremely severe implications, no one seems to know what to do with this information yet. Specifically mentioning individual surveillance cases, if corroborated via other sources, is indicative of the source having direct first-hand knowledge of classified information within this surveillance program. Admin Note: Thankfully, the NY incident is likely not a deliberate attack. This does not mean that the incident was completely benign either. There is enough analytical uncertainty to assess that this incident is not as cut and dry as one might think. Based on the rapid involvement of multiple counterterrorism agencies, officials clearly thought this was a more complex, deliberate terror attack at first. Authorities are still very tight-lipped regarding the circumstances of the event, leading to increased doubts of the official story. Right now it seems unlikely that the explosion was the result of a high-order HME blast. However, statements are still somewhat conflicting as to whether or not traces of explosives were or were not found among the debris.

Though the details of this incident are sketchy at best, this is a great learning opportunity for all. The concepts of risk assessment and reticence are lacking from much public discourse surrounding similar events. For many people, narrative shaping operations take priority over basic concerns for safety and situational awareness. As people rush to “debunk” one detail or another, many lose sight of perspective and of the art of balancing information in today’s unique threat environment. Having genuine concern regarding potential terror attacks is legitimate…but sensationalizing fear is not productive. Having concern for false-flag attacks is justified…but doing so to the point of downplaying genuine terror threats is not a good idea. Finger pointing does no good in the heat of the moment. Despite all officials stating that the incident was not a terror attack, many agencies remain at an elevated threat posture. Counterterrorism force-projection measures and presence patrols continue as well. Authorities have released the identities of the two occupants killed in the explosion as Kurt and Monica Villani.
AZ: Derek Chauvin was stabbed multiple times at the Federal Correctional Institution in Tucson. As of this morning his condition is stable, and he is expected to survive the attack. AC: There is no indication of how a high-risk prisoner would have been in a situation for this attack to occur. The timing of this attack is also highly suspect, when viewed in the context of recent developments with his case. This incident comes two weeks after Chauvin filed a motion to request a new trial on his civil rights count, citing new witness testimony that would have exonerated him on that count. This incident also comes a few days after Chauvin filed for appeal of his murder conviction with the US Supreme Court on the grounds that the original judge refused to sequester the jury, the media appearances by several jurors that indicated irregularities, and at least one juror who lied about being affiliated with the BLM movement during the trial, and that the same juror had attended a rally in support of George Floyd before the trial. The US Supreme Court denied this appeal without comment five days before his attack.

Gaslighting as become the chief form of international diplomacy, as evidenced by everything from the Israeli war, to the terror attack in Dublin. For instance, the NY Times ran the following headline this morning: [‘It Snowballed’: How a Knife Attack in Dublin Led to a Riot. The violence in Ireland’s capital on Thursday night was fueled by far-right agitators who spread rumors online about an attack on three children earlier that day.]. The content of the article suggests that the “rumors” cited in the subheading refer to the man’s Algerian descent (which has not been officially confirmed by authorities). However, the wording of this subheading alone indicates that the attack itself was the rumor. This is a textbook gaslighting attempt intended to downplay the severity of the terror attack.

All MSM corporations have been covering the riots, but very little coverage exists regarding the attacker. Middle East: Israel and Hamas have conducted prisoner swaps during the tenuous ceasefire. Among the 17 hostages returned to Israel was Abigail Mor Edan, a 4 year old Israeli-American girl. AC: Per an NBC news report which interviewed her family members, her great-aunt was revealed to be Elizabeth Hirsh Naftali, a wealthy Los Angeles real estate investor at the heart of the ongoing corruption scandals within the White House. Naftali was appointed by President Biden to the U.S. Commission for the Preservation of America’s Heritage Abroad. In July 2022 (eight months prior to this appointment), Naftali purchased one of Hunter Biden’s paintings at his first art show in Hollywood. Before the scandals, Naftali was known as a major donor to the Democratic party, and hosted a fundraiser event featuring VP Kamala Harris last year. If these familial ties are true, the direct involvement of the US to secure the release of hostages with direct familial (and financial) ties to the current US government is almost certainly a conflict of interest, the follow-on effects of which cannot be determined at this time.

Regarding concerns for free speech in Ireland, the recent riots in Dublin appear to have given politicians the political capital needed to usher in a new wave of legislation to target political enemies. As these proposed changes stand, owning a copy of virtually any classic book, having a meme on your phone, and possessing a diary or unapproved news articles can be construed as a criminal act under these proposals. Though these newest updates are getting much attention at the moment, the efforts to restrict speech have been underway for a long time. For instance, in a press statement last year, MoJ McEntee stated that these modernizations are intended to be “effective in securing convictions”, as only about 50 people have been prosecuted for hate speech since 1989.
Over the past few months, authorities have concentrated efforts to restrict individual freedoms in Ireland (as has been a trend throughout Europe at large). In fact, in July Green Party Senator Pauline O'Reilly stated that: “We are restricting freedom but we are doing it for the common good”. Considering Ireland’s history and culture, and the open admission of textbook tyranny taking place in the most literal sense, these efforts are likely to result in boiling points being reached, as has happened following the Dublin terror attack.
As global tensions remain high, even the smallest incident can result in a flashpoint of events occurring nearly-simultaneously: 1- Citizens revolting (in some regard, however minor it may be), and 2- Authoritarians taking advantage of both the outrage, and the unrest to grant themselves even more power. USA: The DoJ has released a search warrant associated with their investigation of Donald Trump. The document in question relates to information sought regarding Trump’s Twitter account. Though 8 of the 14 pages are redacted in their entirety, page 3 confirms that the DoJ sought “All information from the “connect” or “Notifications” tab for the account, including all lists of Twitter users who have favorited or retweeted tweets posted by the account, as well as all tweets that include the username associated with the account (i.e. “mentions” or “replies”). AC: This means that anyone who interacted with Trump’s account on Twitter has had their private account information shared with the DoJ. A “like” on a single post was enough for Twitter to turn over any account’s information to the DoJ.

The Constitutional and human rights concerns regarding Trump’s search warrant are palpable, but not particularly unexpected. These recent revelations are the latest in the long train of abuses documented clearly and openly by law enforcement agencies. Twitter, failing to immediately comply with the order challenged the search warrant and the Non-Disclosure order (unsuccessfully), and was fined $350,000 before ultimately complying with the order. As a reminder, the judge who approved this search warrant was appointed to the bench by Barack Obama.
In the Middle East, the recent prisoner exchange between Israel and Hamas has been a nearly total information victory for Hamas. Though reports are conflicting and almost impossible to verify, prisoners held by Hamas have frequently reported that they have been treated well, whereas prisoners held by the Israelis detail harsh conditions, abuse, and sometimes torture. However, care must be taken to realize that Hamas in particular has the overwhelming incentive to treat prisoners well, knowing that they would be released at some point and would share their experiences with the world. Hamas (being an insurgent force) has everything to gain, and little to lose by treating prisoners well. On the other hand, Israel does not care what the international community thinks, thus the bad press regarding their prisoners has little effect on Israeli policy and/or doctrine. As such, Hamas appearing to treat prisoners well, and Israel appearing to treat prisoners poorly is probably not as indicative of the real situation as we might want it to be. Both sides want to label their opponents as “barbarians”, but in this conflict so far Hamas has been far more effective at shaping the narrative in their favor, which has been made easy by Israel’s own actions.
