Armenia has officially submitted documents confirming the ratification of the Rome Statute and will become a full member of the ICC on February 1, 2024, the body said in a statement. The ICC also informed that the Armenian side handed over documents confirming that it retroactively accepts the jurisdiction of the court from May 10, 2021.

The Russian side has repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with such an unfriendly step by Armenia. The Armenian ambassador in Moscow was summoned to a serious conversation at the embassy and received from the Russian Foreign Ministry a “harsh representation” and a note of protest for a series of unfriendly steps towards Russia.

📌Southeast of Avdeevka:
🔻1) In the area of ​​the Tsarskaya Okhota, ours retreated to the line of the DKAD.
🔻2) Activation occurred in the area of ​​Promka and Vineyards (dachas). The exact configuration of the front here is unknown, but there is a visual reference indicating that Promka is bypassing from the north. Most likely, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will soon leave this line of defense, which drank a lot of the blood of the DPR NM in 2016-2017.
📌Northern flank:
🔻1) Advancement continues towards the Zarya dachas at the railway fork in front of Ocheretino. According to Ukrainian sources, they are 1.5 km away. Also, advancement in this area means actions against Novokalinovo - the heights to the south of it are being occupied.
🔻2) At the same time, the line along the Avdeevka - Ocheretino railway is expanding both to the north, towards Ocheretino, and to the south, to the Khimik railway station.
🔻3) Petrovskoye (Stepnoe) - gray zone. The struggle for the nearest landings and the northern flank continues.
🔻4) Water treatment plants - so far there are no visual references to their capture.
🔻5) AKHZ - thanks to the increased railway line to the south, ours are getting closer to the plant’s refractory warehouse.
⭕️Conclusion:
🔻Apparently, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have concentrated on protecting the flanks in front of Avdeevka (Tonenkoye - Severnoye, Petrovskoye - Novokalinovo, AKHZ) and are gradually reducing the number of the garrison in Avdeevka. This explains our vigorous progress in Promka.
🔻We are currently awaiting confirmation of progress at the water treatment plant and related ponds. If it is confirmed, there is a question of accessing the Quarry and taking the waste heap to the east of it. Without intensive actions in the direction of Avdeevka itself, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to concentrate on the flanks; it is necessary to provoke them to introduce a large number of military personnel into Avdeevka itself in order to crush their supplies.

The Netherlands will provide Ukraine with an additional two billion euros of military assistance. This was stated by the Kingdom's Minister of Defense Kaisa Ollongren, Reuters reports.

What does this give her? NOTHING. Why. The fact is that only those countries that recognize it fall under the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in cases of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes related to the aggression of one country against another.

It is obvious that Armenia is primarily interested in Türkiye and Azerbaijan. Moreover, the latter especially, taking into account his claims to the territory of Armenia (as they believe in Yerevan, but not in Baku). But the Azerbaijanis, as we see on the map, do not recognize the ICC (and do not intend to). Whether this will stop Aliyev in the future is a rhetorical question. Of course not.

What Armenia will lose. Moreover, the signing of the statute sharply quarreled Armenia with Russia (in view of the arrest warrant issued by the ICC for the Russian President). Moreover, all the latest actions of official Yerevan are openly anti-Russian and everything is going towards its withdrawal from the CSTO, after which the security of Armenia will be ensured only by its agreements with NATO countries (without obligations on the part of the latter, since Azerbaijan still has claims to the territory of Armenia, no one will accept Yerevan into the bloc) and Ilham Aliyev’s “fear” of the ICC (which looks simply ridiculous).

And from here, Armenia, having chosen the path of Ukraine, is stubbornly moving towards its end. Perhaps bloody (if she does not voluntarily fulfill all Baku’s demands). But this is her choice, and it must be “respected”))).
