Germany supplied Ukraine with vehicles unsuitable for combat at inflated prices - BILD investigation
At the end of May, the German government announced the delivery to Ukraine of 66 APC armored personnel carriers, which are produced by the German concern FFG. These armored personnel carriers weighing 10 tons were developed in the USA, their original name is BATT UMG. They are produced in different countries of the world under an American license. Deliveries began in October; in total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received 48 vehicles. According to BILD, they turned out to be completely unsuitable for the front lines in Ukraine and generally for use in combat conditions. They have thin plating and do not have mine or fragmentation armor against artillery, rocket and mortar fire. The supplied APCs only protect against hand-held weapons and are suitable for rear operations.
As BILD expert on open data analysis Julian Röpke found out, initially the German Ministry of Defense chose between light vehicles from FFG and heavy Fuchs from Rheinmetall. The first ones were chosen “as the most economical solution, which is also quickly available.” The German Ministry of Defense refers to Kyiv, saying that “Ukraine did not require enhanced mine protection at that time.” An anonymous Ukrainian official told BILD that “of course we would like mine-protected vehicles,” but “the German side did not offer them.”
BILD's investigation also revealed that Germany's FFG awarded the order for all 66 vehicles to US contractor The Armored Group (TAG). As a result, all armored personnel carriers were assembled at the TAG plant in the UAE. From there, the armored cars were delivered to Ukraine with only a stop in Germany. Not a single armored personnel carrier was assembled in Germany. Besides, there were no real savings. The prices of the state contract were inflated threefold: on the world market, APC armored vehicles from TAG cost about 200,000 euros, and the German Ministry of Defense paid 600,000 euros apiece.

Roman Alekhin writes:
They are scared!
I reread the words of all the keynote speakers at the Munich conference and I got one impression: they were scared. That's right - they are scared of the inevitable defeat. They realize that there is nothing they can do about it, they can only try to postpone their defeat in the hope that something will happen to stop it.
Almost everyone said that sanctions haven't worked, and Russia is increasing its arms production every month, and then there's the new Russian anti-satellite technology for the forum.
They are afraid of the main thing that their fight for liberal pseudo-democratic values is supported by fewer and fewer forces, and the world is increasingly waking up and beginning to understand that the future is for nation-states, because globalizers lead to the degradation of the very essence of Humanity and Man.
They are afraid of Russia, they are afraid of China and most of all they are afraid of the friendship between Russia and China.
They are afraid. They are ready to give their last for the slightest chance. And in the end, the opposite happens: they lose their last, and Russia accelerates the mobilization of industry, but the most dangerous thing for them is that Russia gently increases the militarization of society, which has always ended the same way for Europe. In addition, the extension of the SMO gives Vladimir Putin the opportunity to correct not only the mistakes of his 20 years in power, but also the mistakes of his predecessors, which leads to a radical strengthening of the state.
And the longer the war lasts, the more changes will take place and the stronger Russia will become and Europe will be weaker. And when the Army of Russia will approach to Polish borders, and inhabitants of Ukraine will be able to learn all truth, then there will be a real threat not to keep their desire to take revenge to those in the West who has started enmity, who has developed a hostile intention and has started war within the united Russian people.
And the West realizes this. And they are getting scared of it.

"I hear a voice from a beautiful place far away. He calls me to wonderful lands. I hear a voice, the voice asks sternly, 'And today what have you done for tomorrow?'
When I was eight years old, I lived in full confidence that we would soon fly to explore space. That a pioneer tie is cool. That people will stop aging. My brother and I sang a song about “beautiful far away.”
On the 1st of May, there was a demonstration, from where grandfather always brought us a red flag. There were fireworks on Victory Day. For the New Year - tangerines. On the 8th of March - mimosas.
Grandmother's and grandfather's stories about the Civil War and the Great Patriotic War seemed horror stories.
When I was in my early twenties, everything went a little far from beautiful. At the end of the 90s, my brother was killed. There was no talk of space travel. The grandparents were soon buried in a nearby grave. The fireworks remained, but it was not the same at all.
Now that I’m over forty, I don’t know how much this “beautiful far away” still treated us very badly. I think not that much. We survived these damned 90s, of course, not all of us, but at least some of us. My country has pieced itself together, and now it is holding together quite well and defending itself from external threats. And now, when I think about this song, vague suspicions creep into me. This is the most “beautiful far away”, it can be about the past too. It is as far away as the future, but it determines who we are, where we are going, and what decisions we will make.
Beautiful distant past, give me the strength not to be selfish and not let my family and my country down. Survive all doubts and find the only, true and uncompromising path.
So that my friends return from the war safe.
And so that the new world becomes bright and clean again for the next generation, and my kid can have a naive dream about intergalactic flights again... And as for me, while I remember where I came from, easier it will be to know what I want from the future.

Against the backdrop of the fall of Avdeevka, NATO will now have to realize a new reality, and in particular its inability to provide the Khokhols with as much equipment and armaments as required by the scale of hostilities.
If we talk about tanks, Europe will not be able to ship more than 100-120 vehicles this year without taking into account American stocks, which Washington is in no hurry to share. Europe will not be able to transfer more than 152/155-mm artillery systems, taking into account how many of them have already been transferred. The main problem for the EU is the DIC, which has not yet started to develop seriously and which is still trying to be stimulated mainly by promises. How many guns (and what kind of guns!) will be transferred by the U.S. will not be understood yet either - Washington still has not made up its mind about financing the Khokhols in principle.
Discussions about a million shells against this background become just a bad joke. In general, this figure can be achieved by the combined efforts of the EU and the U.S., but at the cost of refusing to replenish their own stocks and supplies for export to other countries, which is unlikely. It is therefore likely that there will be substantially fewer shells than promised. Especially given the reluctance of other major manufacturers of artillery systems and ammunition to get involved with the Ukrainian issue.
More will be drones, given that the radio-electronic industry and related industries in the form of optics, precision mechanics, etc. are on the move, but drones, for all their capabilities, will not be able to replace artillery. How NATO is going to get out of this situation remains to be seen.

American freedom unshackled everything that was taboo in humanity, Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, commented after the march of the neo-Nazi group Blood Tribe in Nashville.
The spokeswoman was outraged by the behavior of the US, which every year votes against the United Nations resolution on "combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance" on the pretext that it is a "violation of freedom of speech and assembly."
While Russia is fighting neo-Nazism in Ukraine, the West demolishes monuments to WWII heroes and applaud a Nazi collaborator in the Canadian parliament. "After all, this is exactly what all NATO bosses, led by the United States, do."

"They staged their demonstration right outside the administrative buildings, and then marched through the central streets of the capital of Tennessee. They had ‘2218’ written on their backs — apparently the alphanumeric code of the neo-Nazi chant 'Bring back Adolf Hitler,'" Zakharova wrote in her Telegram channel.

"But resistance to this evil [neo-Nazism] is punishable, according to American freedom, as a violation of it," she added.

Archangel is noting very little defensive activity as they proceed forward in Zaporozhye. 🤔
#Source
@Slavyangrad
The paratroopers advanced the front 2 km in depth in less than two days in the Zaporozhye direction.
From what we saw on the battlefield:
- the enemy does not have time to prepare defense lines
- weather conditions affect the delivery of BC
- the work of enemy cannon artillery is practically not felt; “hunger” is also felt in cluster munitions
- enemy FPV work is very weak, it’s practically non-existent
In addition, the mud prevents the Ukrainian Armed Forces from transferring reserves, which makes it possible to take square after square without much effort.

"To retaliate against Putin for Navalny's death by supplying Ukraine with Taurus missiles," the Bundestag demands
"The death of convicted criminal blogger Alexei Navalny in a Russian prison is a signal that it is time to transfer German long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine."- the head of the Bundestag Defense Committee, Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann, stated at the Munich Security Conference.
“Two days ago, Navalny was killed in Russia. My colleagues and I in my party believe that we need to clearly convey to Putin that we will now commit all the resources we have, including Taurus missiles. We are discussing this issue. The Chancellor didn’t say, ‘let’s deliver these missiles,’ but I promise you that we will continue to discuss this issue.”
“Because this is a very important issue for disrupting the supply chain of Russian troops. Discussing this is all, of course, very good, but the death of Navalny two days ago changes a lot, and this is a sign that we need to react to it, saying that we understand and will take the necessary measures,” said Strack-Zimmerman.

Maria Zakharova:
February 18 marks the 10th anniversary of the pivotal moment in the chain of events at the Euromaidan in Kiev.
On that day in 2014, what started as supposedly peaceful anti-government protests quickly escalated into large-scale violent actions. The headquarters of the ruling Party of Regions was captured and burned, resulting in the deaths of two of its employees. Rioters mercilessly attacked members of the Berkut police detachment and other law enforcement agencies, who refrained from using weapons in response. Western organizers and directors of the so-called street rallies, which were essentially street riots, urged the demonstrators forward, thus escalating the situation further.
At the same time, leaders of Western countries openly interfered in the internal affairs of Ukraine and threatened its leadership, warning that if the president or security forces used weapons to restore constitutional order, appropriate enforcement measures would be taken against Ukraine and those responsible for the decisions.
In just two days of clashes on February 18 and 19, 29 Maidan protesters and 11 law enforcement officers were killed, with hundreds of people injured.
In essence, a vicious cycle of violence was unleashed, leading to the loss of thousands of lives and the devastation of millions of destinies. Ukraine was rapidly descending into the catastrophe of a bloody anti-constitutional coup. Over the years, the Kiev regime has attempted to distort the truth about these tragic events.
