Some of the Western-provided weapons intended for Ukrainian troops was stolen by arms traffickers, criminals, and volunteer fighters before being recovered last year, a US military news outlet that obtained a Pentagon report has claimed

The report does not specify whether the weapons and equipment that were stolen were American, some examples are outlined in a highly redacted section of the document that deals with Ukrainian tracking of US-provided arms, according to the US media outlet.

Last year, the US delivered a wide array of weapons to Ukraine, including Stinger and Javelin missiles, howitzers, grenade launchers, as well as millions of rounds of small-arms ammunition.

Divers discovered more than a dozen unexploded bombs and artillery projectiles in a US Navy shipwreck off the coast of Newfoundland, the Royal Canadian Navy announced 

The Canadian government has warned that unexploded ordinances can be more ubiquitous than what is found amongst a World War II shipwreck.

Ukrainian Ambassador to the UK had been dismissed, with Kiev's Foreign Ministry giving no official reason for his sacking, British media reported

One British news website claimed that the ambassador had been on the receiving end of a "very strong" telephone call from Kiev.

Poland considering sending troops to Western Ukraine - Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Director Sergei Naryshkin said on Friday at a meeting held by President Vladimir Putin with the permanent members of the Security Council.
