🚚Trying to stay optimistic? The White House claims that vaccine mandates won't affect the supply chain crisis.

In October, the American Trucking Association expressed “grave concern” over potential damage that Biden's plans for a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for many businesses — including trucking companies — might cause for the country.

The ATA warned that motor carriers it represents – who it claims supply 80% of the country and move 70% of its freight tonnage — could lose up to 37% of their drivers.

🇹🇼💵 So generous: A group of Republican senators have introduced a bill they call the Taiwan Deterrence Act, that would set aside $2 billion a year in military aid to Taiwan to help it stand up to China, which considers the island nation as their own Chinese province in rebellion.

Besides the money aid, the US would export to Taiwan long-range precision fires, air and missile defense systems, anti-ship cruise missiles, land attack cruise missiles and conventional hypersonic systems.

The bill, however, would violate a key agreement in US-China relations.
