"We are ready for a strong partnership and further development. But we want respect. We will never be a piece of property that anyone can buy," said Greenland's new Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen.

"Agreements have been reached that the document will not account for the US aid provided prior to its signing," Denis Shmyhal said after a meeting with US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

"10 years ago they already thought they'd have a nuclear arsenal... We delayed them, but we didn't stop them," the Israeli Prime Minister said at the Jewish News Syndicate summit.

“Who is flaunting military force, provoking confrontation, and threatening peace everywhere? The international community has never been clearer about this,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian stressed.

"Kiev has not shown readiness for negotiations so far. The latest evidence of that is the Ukrainian armed forces’ inability to respect the 30-day moratorium on strikes on energy facilities or the 30-hour Easter truce," Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with Brazil’s O Globo newspaper.

“I am sure that if we admit Ukraine, we will be worse off,” Viktor Orban said, adding that the EU “must protect what we have built, not gamble it away."
