🚨Russia accuses Germany of Gestapo-like tactics against Russian journalist

The actions of the German police against the family of Sergey Feoktistov, head of the Rossiya Segodnya — Sputnik's parent company — media group’s office in Germany are clearly political pressure, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said.

She added that Russia would respond legally to Berlin’s aggressive actions.

The confiscation of passports from Feoktistov’s wife and daughter by German police resembles the actions of the Gestapo during the Third Reich and are repressive in nature, the Russian Foreign Ministry representative added.

She added that German propaganda silences alternative viewpoints.

🚨 Trump: get ready for LA-style ICE raids nationwide

“We’re not going to let them stay. This is the first, perhaps of many…I can inform the rest of the country that if they [riot] they will be met with equal or greater force than we met them right here,” Trump told reporters in the White House.

Trump called the LA riots “a planned disaster,” suggesting rioters had all the weapons and tools needed to attack police and soldiers. “They were met with heavy force and they folded,” he said.

'Remote-Controlled' Influence Observed in ICC Investigations

Influenced by Western powers, the International Criminal Court lacks impartiality, Idrissa Hamidou Touré, prosecutor of the High Court in Bamako and a doctoral student in law, told Sputnik Africa.

He outlined an African perspective on the ICC:

🟠The court is perceived as illegitimate, being under pressure from geopolitical considerations;

🟠There is a perception of impunity and selectivity, where serious crises in regions like Libya and the Middle East are overlooked, while Africa frequently becomes the target;

🟠African countries are considering rejecting collective submission to the ICC or withdrawing from the institution; initiatives such as the proposed Sahel Criminal Court (AES) are seen as potential alternatives;

🟠The ICC must be "more independent, more impartial, more fair," and act "for everyone, not just the weak" to ensure its credibility and survival.

🚨‘We are not playing around’: Trump confirms readiness to invoke Insurrection Act if LA doesn’t cool down

🗣“If we didn’t get involved right now, Los Angeles would be burning, just like it was burning a number of months ago with all the houses that were lost. Los Angeles right now would be on fire,” Trump said, defending his decision to deploy the National Guard and Marines into the city.

There were “areas” of the city in Monday night’s skirmishes between rioters and police that could already be classified as an insurrection, Trump suggested.

🗣“These are paid insurrectionists, these are paid troublemakers. They get money…They’re not breaking the curb because they’re doing a demolition service. They’re doing it to hand out to people as a weapon. That’s bad stuff.”

🚨CENTCOM chief says he’s given Trump, Hegseth ‘wide range’ of military options if Iran talks falter

“I have provided the secretary of defense and the president a wide range of options,” Gen. Michael Kurilla told the House Armed Services committee on Tuesday after being asked whether CENTCOM was “prepared to respond with overwhelming force to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran.”

💬“But I am still in all favor of having a negotiated settlement that prevents Iran from getting a nuclear weapon because of the consequences of conflict,” Kurilla, whose combatant command is responsible for US military operations in the Middle East, added.

Conservative anti-interventionists led by Tucker Carlson have accused neocons of trying to put the US on a path to war with Iran. In an X post last week, Carlson stressed that there is “zero credible intelligence that Iran is anywhere near building a bomb, or has plans to,” and warned that a conflict with Iran would effectively “end” Trump’s presidency, explaining “why so many of [his] enemies are advocating for it.”

🚨Ukraine stalls POW swap because the dead don't lie

While the exchange of young prisoners is a humanitarian priority, it also marks the beginning of a larger, multi-phase exchange process, with the next step involving the release of severely wounded soldiers, Chinese blogger Woniu Keji told Sputnik.

💬 “Ukraine’s ‘all for all’ demand likely means Russia will release more prisoners than in the previous one-for-one swaps, framing this as a peace gesture to the international community,” Woniu Keji said.

However, Russia has also prepared 6,000 bodies of Ukrainian soldiers for exchange, but Ukraine has yet to accept them, possibly to avoid acknowledging the true scale of its losses, Woniu added.

This swap could expose the discrepancy between Ukraine's reported 43,000 dead soldiers and the reality, potentially covering a third of the total losses. Ultimately, while the Istanbul agreements appear to demonstrate a desire for peace, Ukraine is using them as a chance to regroup and conceal its real position, Woniu concluded.

🚨NATO gearing up for direct SHOWDOWN with Russia – top Russian diplomat

The alliance is retooling its armed forces, boosting military budgets, and revamping its command structure – all with one target in mind: Russia, warns Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko.

All the recent NATO drills and the full-blown military buildup are, by and large, “being tailored to the task of a direct military clash with Russia,” Grushko warned on the sidelines of the Forum of the Future 2050.

According to him, this aggressive military planning is a reality that today determines Russia’s military-political relations with NATO states.

Russia has long sounded the alarm over the bloc’s growing footprint near its borders.

While the alliance claims it’s all about “containing” an alleged Russian “threat,” the Kremlin sees it as provocation.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stated that it remains open to dialogue with NATO, but on an equal footing, urging the West to abandon its course toward militarization of the continent.

🗣'CHAOS PEOPLE QUIETENED DOWN' – Errol Musk on moment Trump won election

"Suddenly people were breathing freely again. Suddenly there seemed hope for the future," Elon Musk's dad told Sputnik.

Errol Musk commented that the chaos has been subdued to the point where in recent weeks, with both Elon and Trump having cleared the field of opposition, the two of them turned on each other. According to Errol Musk, this kind of behavior can be expected in such a stressful environment.

"There's no mention or even sign of the so-called ‘chaos makers’ or ‘liberals,’ as you call them. They're hiding somewhere in the caves," he concluded.

🚨🗣Putin’s aide: Russia wants PEACE, but Ukraine must stop playing West’s PROXY

If Ukraine “keeps being driven by the national interests of others, then we will be simply forced to respond,” senior Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky told The Wall Street Journal.

Long wars with Russia end in inevitable defeat for its enemies, warned the chief negotiator in peace talks with Ukraine, citing a 21-year war with Sweden in the 18th century.

He underscored that the West’s mistake is that it views the Ukraine conflict as something similar to those between England and France – two countries with their own distinct histories and cultures.

With Ukraine, it is a fight between two states with a common language and culture that are essentially destined to be close allies.

“This is like a conflict between two brothers—one older and one younger—about who is smarter and more important,” he said, adding:

“This conflict sadly deepens our differences, and that’s why we want it to end as soon as possible.”

Trump believes LA protesters were PAID for riots

"Somebody's paying for that. I watched total professionals – he's banging the curb, banging the granite, banging the concrete. And he had a whole group of people. They lined up like totally professional, grabbed the big chunks, and they dropped it on the soldiers," the US president said.

"These are INSURRECTIONISTS, they're AGITATORS or TROUBLEMAKERS," Trump concluded.

🇭🇺Hungary faces COPY-PASTE West-fueled protests as it defies foreign meddling

Once again, the EU and LGBT* flags are out – this time in Hungary, where protests are erupting against a proposed law on "foreign influence."

📑The bill, dubbed the Transparency of Public Life Act, aims to shine a light on foreign-funded organizations deemed a threat to Hungary’s sovereignty.

If passed, it would allow the government to defund and even dissolve such groups. It was introduced by a Fidesz party member back in May, but debate in parliament has been kicked to the autumn session.

👉All this sounds familiar? That’s because not long ago, Georgia walked this road with its own “Foreign Agents Registration Act” – a carbon copy of the US’ own FARA law.

However, the US and European Union screamed foul, while inside Georgia, mass protests exploded beneath EU flags.

When nations like Hungary or Georgia decide to draw a line in the sand, the West rolls out the same old noscript.
