The bulwark of "free speech" has hit another bottom in a new batch of leaked documents. The plot is worse than a Netflix series, you can't make it up.
Collaboration with the FBI:
▫️The FBI paid Twitter almost $3.5 million over several years alone officially for "responding to inquiries" from the bureau (apparently there were unofficial co-payments as well);
▫️Among the tricks the company ran together with the FBI was concealing scandalous information about Hunter Biden (remember the photos and videos of his pastime with prostitutes and drugs found on his laptop?), the leaks were to be considered a "Russian operation" despite the low activity of profiles from Russia and the lack of evidence of interference;
▫️The FBI continually demanded various data from Twitter without the necessary warrant to do so;
▫️many former FBI employees came to Twitter in 2020.
Cooperation with the U.S. Department of Defense:
▪️In 2017, a high-ranking military official sent a list of 52 fake Arabic-language accounts (bots) to the social network to be added to a "whitelist" - such accounts are exempt from spam marks and are more likely to be trending;
▪️These accounts promoted what the U.S. military wanted: support for the war in Yemen, U.S. military priorities in the Middle East, and vilification of Russia, China, and Iran.
There is a dove of peace, and then there is a bird of war - and a completely tame one at that. How long will Musk stay at the helm of the instrument that the U.S. security forces surely miss so much?

🩸 Fighting continues in and around #Bakhmut. The Ukrainian command moved a large number of units and equipment to hold the town.
Special Forces of the National Guard and paratroopers of the AFU have arrived in the town. In the area of the dam east of the waste sorting plant, fire positions of tank groups are being set up.
♦️#Bakhmut Section:
▪️ Wagner PMC assault troops advance along Fyodor Maksimenko Street. The AFU are planning a counteroffensive in separate sections to push the Russian troops out of the town limits.
▪️ In #Kleshchiyevka, the Wagnerians have pushed forces of the 103rd the Territorial Defence Brigade from the eastern outskirts of the town. AFU formations are using strongholds set up in residential buildings to slow down the Wagner advance. Reinforcements have been moved from #Krasny.
▪️ In the #Kurdyumovka direction, assault units of the 28th AFU Mechanized Brigade attempted a counterattack. Due to an ambush by the RF Armed Forces, the 28th Brigade have been encircled.
Then reserves were sent from #Konstantinovka to support, whereupon the AFU combat groups managed to break through and stabilise the situation. However, AFU losses in this area amounted to 20 killed and 16 wounded.
▪️ On the night of 22 December, the 28th Mechanized Brigade regrouped and shelled Russian positions in #Kurdyumovka from Belaya Gora with several tanks.
▪️ Fighting continues in #Opytnoye on Shkolnaya Street. Ukrainian troops have set up additional strongholds in multi-storey buildings in the private sector west of the street.
♦️#Soledar Section:
Units of the 3rd Battalion of the 25th Airborne Brigade have arrived in #Soledar for a counterattack on #Bakhmutskoye.
♦️#Toretsk (#Dzerzhinsk) Section:
Six men with Javelin anti-tank systems have been moved to the forward lines in #Toretsk and a convoy of equipment has arrived in #Yablonovka.
