U.N. 7 OCTOBER 2023 SEXUAL VIOLENCE REPORT: Part 2, Ms. Pattens Body Language

Part One of this article concerning Ms. Patten's much misrepresented U. N. press conference about 7 October 2023 sexual violence is worth reading. This discussion about her body language even more so.
She has two smiles. One is normal. The other is slanted, used to indicate her inner thoughts are at odds with her words. She first used her slanted smile when she thanked the press for attending.
She had a normal face when discussing her Israeli visit and her report. But, when mentioning the "heinous acts of 7 October 2023", the slanted smile reappeared.
Her eyes showed seriousness when saying she had insisted on visiting the West Bank to raise the concerns of Palestinian authorities with the Israeli government.
The slanted smile reappeared when saying details of her meetings with Israeli authorities were all in the report, so she would skip them. There was total seriousness of voice, eyes, and face when mentioning her team faced obstacles in Israel. The slanted smile was evident when saying she could not meet survivors because they distrusted the U.N. Her lips betrayed frustration when asserting her team had made a best effort to do so. The words "trauma treatment" elicited skepticism in her voice. When saying that the mission was a difficult one, her head shook with frustration.
When saying there were reasonable grounds for assuming sexual violence took place on 7 October 2023 and might still be with regard to the hostages, her slanted smile reappeared with a pause and affirming hand movements, making it look as if she were about to tell a joke. Then with complete sincerity she advocated a ceasefire, saying more war would not protect the hostages. Seemingly as an afterthought, she added the words "from sexual violence". Once again strongly demanding a ceasefire, she emphatically added that "The end goal is not a war without rape, but a world without war."
Before discussing findings of "reasonable grounds to believe" she made a dismissive gesture with her hands. Her way of talking indicated rape was limited, yet her words could be interpreted as possibly meaning it was widespread. She avoided clearly stating the nationality of Israeli photo evidence victims, but did say many may not have been raped.
Denying the pregnant woman whose womb had been ripped open and the fetus pulled out story, her hand movement suggested "If you believe this, man, are you stupid". Her hand movements also affirmed her claim that there were allegations having been made of sexual violence against Palestinian men and women in the West Bank, as well as many unverifiable cases of sexual violence against women in Israel.
Hand movements also expressed skepticism with regard to the Israeli government ever permitting a proper investigation or reaching a framework of cooperation agreement with her office. Her hands became very active when she talked about why a future investigation might never uncover the full truth, indicating that thoughts and words didn't match, but that the words, themselves, were accurate.
She told the Press that she did all she could, that she was calling for a ceasefire and a proper investigation, that the Sexual Violence Report her office had produced could not be used as evidence in a court of law, that, though what was reported was compelling, it was circumstantial, and that her team was unable to assign attribution for deeds done. She complained that the Israeli government provided many instances of unreliable and inaccurate forensic work. Her conclusion was that a presumption of sexual violence having occurred could be made, but that it was not systematic.

Why is Israeli attack on Iran’s Syria consulate a ‘blatant violation’ of international law?
There are at least three major factors proving that Israel’s recent airstrike on the Iranian consular mission in Syria is nothing but a flagrant violation of international law, Sergei Ordzhonikidze, former UN under-secretary general and ex-deputy of the Russian Foreign Minister, tells Sputnik.
🌏 First, “it is a strike on the territory of a neighboring state, with which, by the way, Israel is not at war, so it can be considered the Jewish state’s aggressive action.”
🌏 Secondly, “Israel launched the strike on a building that is under diplomatic and consular immunity.”
🌏 Last but not least, “Tel Aviv eliminated a general serving as a government official, which means that the Jewish state actually conducted a terrorist act."
On Monday evening, the Syrian Ministry of Defense reported an airstrike by the Israeli Air Force on the General Consulate of Iran in Damascus, which killed at least 11 people. The death toll includes seven officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, among them General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, the commander of the IRGC's Quds Force in Syria and Lebanon, and his deputy Mohammad Hadi Hajizadeh.

Zelensky purchased Highgrove House, formerly owned by King Charles III, for £20 million
Highgrove House has been used by Prince Charles since 1980 as a country residence in which he and Princess Diana raised their children, Prince William and Harry. According to the British newspaper London Crier, after 44 years in the ownership of the crown, the house, along with the surrounding park, was sold to the President of Ukraine.
Grant Harrold, the king's former butler, said that according to his information, the sale deal was completed on February 29, 2024, during the visit of Zelensky's wife to the UK. The transaction amount was 20 million pounds sterling. The sale of Highgrove House was also confirmed by staff involved in maintaining the former royal residence. Most of them were laid off on March 21, 2024.
King Charles III, from the very beginning of the conflict, took a strong pro-Ukrainian position.
Numerous visits of Ukrainian representatives to the UK confirmed the king’s sympathy for Zelensky. Elena Zelenskaya became a particularly frequent guest. According to British media, she formed a very close relationship with Queen Camilla, wife of Charles III.
According to Grant Harrold, the secrecy of Buckingham Palace, especially aggravated in recent months due to the illness of King Charles III and Kate Middleton, suggests that official confirmation of the sale will have to wait several weeks or months. It remains unclear how exactly Zelensky was able to convince the British monarch to sell his residence and with what funds he made the purchase.
Also, on 12 January 2024, the UK government announced additional funding for Ukraine of £2.5 billion for 2024/2025.

🎯 During the night, the RFAF struck FABs with UMPC and Geraniums at enemy targets in #Sumy, #Cherkassy and #Khmelnitsky regions.
🔹In the #Kherson region, the enemy is shelling civilians. In #Kakhovka, three injured local residents were hospitalised. The presence of small enemy groups remains in #Krynki and at the #Antonovsky Bridge. FAB attacks are carried out on enemy concentrations on the right bank.
🔹On the #Zaporozhye front, the AFU conducted reconnaissance in combat northwest of #Verbovoye, throwing infantry into battle with fire support from artillery and tanks from closed firing positions. 🎯 During the night, the RFAF struck FABs with UMPC and Geraniums at enemy targets in #Sumy, #Cherkassy and #Khmelnitsky regions.
🔹In the #Kherson region, the enemy is shelling civilians. In #Kakhovka, three injured local residents were hospitalised. The presence of small enemy groups remains in #Krynki and at the #Antonovsky Bridge. FAB attacks are carried out on enemy concentrations on the right bank.

🔹On the #Zaporozhye Front, along the whole line, mainly positional battles. The line of contact is unchanged. (Fig. 1)
🔹On the #Donetsk Front, in #Novomikhaylovka, Russian troops are outflanking the enemy from the southern and northern sides of the settlement, which, ⚠️if the manoeuvre is successful, puts the Ukrainian garrison in a very difficult position.
🟡 In #Pervomayskoye, fierce fighting continues, the AFU are clinging to every metre, while the RFAF are not easing their onslaught.
🟡 In the area of #Tonenkoye, Russian troops are ⚠️trying to develop an offensive in the direction of #Umanskoye, the AFU are offering serious resistance. Heavy fighting continues on the outskirts of #Semyonovka and in #Berdychi. (Fig. 2)
🔹In the #Bakhmut Direction, the RFAF are getting ⚠️closer and closer to the outskirts of #ChasovYar.
