So, in the above post, I spoke about channeling your feelings by writing, drawing, etc..
Back in 2002, they had diagnosed me with manic depression and I was in a mental health facility in New York after a suicide attempt.
I wrote these words. I placed them on a poster board for others to read on the unit, and everybody contributed something… it was a super powerful community project. Looking back, this was not an easy life for me. But boy, the growth that took place~~~
THE GROWTH, is incredible..
I encourage anybody who is out there in pain right now to channel your feelings into some kind of creative work. It is time to get those feelings out and heal them once and for all… nobody can do it for us. We must face the demons WITH SO MUCH LOVE! 💖💖💖

This is so true. And I see many people struggling because they think they need to power through everything. They push down their emotions and bury them under facades and booze and unhealthy sex and obsessive exercising and all manner of things. I am intimately familiar with this pattern because it was my own as well. I was so out of touch with my feelings that one time someone asked me how I felt about a major incident in my family and my response was, “What does how I feel have to do with anything?”
Yeah. Not good.
Anyway, I can tell you, burying them doesn’t work. It makes you sick. It makes you sad. The only way is to feel. No matter how hard it is.
And when you can feel, you can heal. ✨💕✨

When you are no longer afraid, he has no power. Do you see?
