We’ve been conditioned to believe that knowledge comes from external sources. And not only that but we’ve been conditioned to believe that information is only valid if it comes from another person, institution or “expert”. We’ve been conditioned to think we are blank slates waiting to be written upon.
That’s the opposite of the Truth.
We hold the Truth within us and just have to find our way back to it. The world coats this raw Knowing with layer after layer of crap that we have no ownership of. They give us pieces of paper and noscripts to tell us we are educated, when really, we are just shackled with more weight on the mind.
It’s just noise and it acts as a jamming frequency to drown out the Real stuff.
Can you learn things from the outside world? Sure.
But if you’ve forgotten who you are, none of that can help you.
We have to learn to tune out the noise in order to hear the symphony.

I used this book in my Masters research. It’s is excellent. It’s about how trauma is stored in our tissues and that it keeps track of what we experience, even if we refuse to address it in the mind. Very informative for issues with PTSD along with all manner of “normal” trauma.
