Josep Borrell, head of the EU diplomatic mission, said that the armed conflict in Ukraine cannot be justified by anything, including the failure to fulfill NATO's promises to Russia. He called such actions by the international alliance possible.

“I am not satisfied as excuses or reasoning with the arguments that many people, including my friends, justify aggression by saying that NATO did not fulfill its promises. It's possible. This is history. None of this justifies what is happening,” Borrell said.

Recall that, according to Vladimir Putin, it was precisely the promises repeatedly violated by NATO countries about the non-expansion of the alliance to the East and outright deceit that became the root causes of the conflict in Ukraine.

❗️Control over the movement of the cargo that was blown up on the Crimean bridge along the entire route was carried out by an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who introduced himself to the participants in the scheme as "Ivan Ivanovich".

For coordination, he used a virtual anonymous number purchased on the Internet, the FSB said.

❗️The FSB described the mechanics of how the explosives were delivered to the Crimean bridge

As the investigation established, the explosive device was camouflaged in rolls with a construction polyethylene film on 22 pallets with a total weight of 22,770 kg and in early August "sent from the seaport of Odessa to the Bulgarian city of Ruse under contract No. 02/08/2022 between Translogistik LLC UA" (Kyiv) and "Baltex Capital S.A."
(Ruse)".

"Citizens of Ukraine Tsyurkalo Mikhail Vladimirovich, born in 1975, Kovach Denis Olegovich, born in 1979, Solomko Roman Ivanovich, 1971 .b., citizens of Georgia Inosaridze Sandro, a broker named "Levan" and a citizen of Armenia Terchanyan Artur, born in 1985.

From September 29 to October 3, 2022 in Yerevan, at the Transalliance terminal, the cargo was cleared according to the rules of the EurAsEC and the documents were replaced, after which it was already sent by GU AR GROUP LLC (Republic of Armenia, Alaverdi) , and the recipient LLC "Leader" (Moscow)", - reported in the special service.

Later, the FSB noted, on October 4, on a DAF truck registered in Georgia, the cargo crossed the Russian-Georgian border at the Upper Lars checkpoint and on October 6 it was delivered and unloaded at the Armavir wholesale base in the Krasnodar Territory.

"On October 7 of this year, with the assistance of R. Solomko, a citizen of Ukraine Zlob Vladimir Vasilyevich, born in 1987, and five more established citizens of Russia, the documents for the cargo were again changed, the sender was indicated LLC "TEK-34" (Ulyanovsk) , and the recipient is a non-existent company in the Republic of Crimea," the FSB reports.

The special service stated that on the same day the pallets were loaded into the truck of Russian citizen Yusubov Makhir, born in 1971, "who left for Simferopol, and on October 8, 2022 at 06:03, while following the Crimean bridge, he was blown up."

“At the same time, control over the movement of cargo along the entire route and contacts with participants in the criminal transportation scheme was carried out by an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, who introduced himself as “Ivan Ivanovich”, who used for coordination both a virtual anonymous number purchased on the Internet and registered for a citizen of Ukraine, a resident of the city of Minsk. Kremenchug Andreychenko Sergei Vladimirovich, born in 1988," the FSB believes.

🇺🇦Why are they dumping all over the HPP cascade in Kyiv

The day before, a version appeared on the Web that this is how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are preparing an attack on Kherson or the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. And as a preparation, the water level in the Dnieper is being raised.

But most likely, this has nothing to do with the offensive. Water is being dumped because there is not enough electricity. They don’t even dump it, but let more water through the turbines.

Typically, hydroelectric power plants are used in order to smooth out fluctuations in consumption. When the peak of consumption comes and there is not enough electricity, they start the state district power station, and save water the rest of the time.

Now in Ukraine there is a constant shortage of electricity, so a lot of water passes through the state district power station. But it cannot go on like this for long. Water levels in reservoirs will drop dramatically.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💡 Russian Armed Forces strikes on Ukraine's Energy system on 10-11 October 2022 - @Rybar Analysis⚡️

Following massive missile strikes by the Russian Armed Forces against Ukraine's energy infrastructure on 10 and 11 October, it is only now that a relatively complete picture of the results of the firing and the extent of damage to certain targets is emerging.

Rybar's team analyzed open-source data, eyewitness reports from the field, NASA's FIRMS fire-fighting map, and information from classified sources. In some cases, the effects of a fire are not so clear and data are lacking. In such cases, the item is marked as 'Requires clarification'.

🔻 Objects hit on 10 October:
1.1. Kiev TPP-5;
1.2. Kiev TPP-6 (presumably a miss);
1.3. Pryvokzalna 110 kV substation (former open switchgear of TETs-3);
1.4. Darnitsa TPP;
2. Tripolskaya TPP.
3. Zhitomir 330/110 kV substation;
4. Khmelnitskaya 330/110 kV substation;
5. Ternopil 330/110 kV substation;
6.1 TS Lvivskaya TETs-1
6.2 Substation Lviv-South 330/220/110 kV;
6.3 Substation Lviv-2 220/110/6kV;
7. Substation 110/35/10kV Zdolbunov TSHK (presumably, clarification needed);
8. Zapadno-Ukrainskaya 750/330kV substation (needs clarification);
9. Burshtynskaya TPP;
10. Krivoy Rog TPP;
11. Prydniprovska TES;
12. Kremenchug 330/154/35/10 kV substation;
13. Substation Konotop 330/110 kV;
14.1 Substation Zalyutino 330/110/35 kV;
14.2 Kharkov CHPP-5;
14.3 Zmievskaya TPP.

🔻 The facilities affected on 11 October:
1. Ladyzhinskaya TPP;
2. 330 kV Lvov-Yuzhnaya substation;
3. Substation 154kV Lviv -2;
4. 330kV Lvov Westerly substation (presumably, needs clarification);
5. Substation Zapadno-Ukrainskaya 750/330kV (needs clarification);
6. Substation Prydniprovskaya 750 kV;
7. Kiev TPP-6 area (presumably a miss);
8. Kiev HPP Vyshgorod;
9. PS "VDGMK" 330/150/35/6 kV Volnogorsk;
10. Pavlogradskaya 330/150/35/6kV substation (needs clarification);
11. Substation Pravoberezhnaya 330kV Zaporozhye (requires clarification).

🔻 Based on the available information, we believe that the most effective strikes were in Lvov, Kharkov, Khmelnytsky and Sumy regions.

▪️ Despite this, power supply has now been restored almost everywhere, but the transmission capacity of the power system has been reduced as a result of the strikes.

▪️ Transformers and autotransformers at 330/110 and 330/150 kV are most likely to have been hit. Substations and thermal power plants managed to reduce both generation and transmission capacity of the power system.

▪️ An indirect indication of the effectiveness of the strikes can be found in the fact that Ukraine has refused to export electricity to the EU and Moldova.

▪️ Emergency schemes are used to bypass damaged parts of the electrical system. The effect of their use creates the illusion of solving problems, but in fact it only postpones them.

🔻 However, it is clear that the damage to the Ukrainian energy system is not enough to fragment it into separate power districts. The stability of the energy system is maintained through forced rolling blackouts of consumers - especially during morning and evening peak hours.

The former FSB general named a way to deprive Kyiv of arms supplies from the West.

Major General of the FSB of Russia, retired Alexander Mikhailov, said that Russia could deprive the Kyiv regime of arms supplies from the West if it hits the points for replacing the wheel sets of freight trains in Ukraine.

“In my opinion, it is necessary to hit the stations where the trains “change shoes” so that no equipment that the West transfers to them gets into the territory of Ukraine,” Mikhailov said.

‼️Something is clearly wrong with the Kyiv hydroelectric power station - some areas of Kyiv adjacent to it have already been flooded. The SBU banned the publication of any data on the arrivals of Russian cruise missiles. It is quite possible that the hydroelectric power station itself or the dam could be damaged.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🎞Chronicle of Battles in the Starobilsk direction
October 7-11

▪️After leaving Lyman and Kupyansk, Russian troops were able to delay the AFU offensive and dig in on the borders of Tavilzhanka — Vilshana — Orlyanske and Raihorodka — Kreminna.

▪️On October 7, Cossacks of the 208th Cossack regiment made an audacious raid on Ukrainian positions in Dibrova. During the fightings, the AFU suffered losses and withdrew from the settlement.

▪️On the same day, units of the 14th separate mech brigade tried to storm the Russian Armed Forces' positions in Tavilzhanka. Russian troops repulsed the attack and destroyed several units of enemy armored vehicles.

▪️Due to failures in the Tavilzhanka area, the AFU command focused on crashing into the Russian Armed Forces' defence at the Vilshana - Pershotravneve line, trying to break through to the Troitske — Pokrovske — Nova Duvanka — Svatove line.

▪️There are several thousand AFU fighters concentrated on the Lyman Svatove sector. The Ukrainian reconnaissance groups has repeatedly tried to implement attacks in Kreminna, but they all ended in failure.

▪️On the night of October 10-11, Ukrainian units attempted to storm Russian positions in the Kreminna area. However, Russian Armed Forces' units not only repulsed the offensive, but also launched a counterattack.

▪️During the battle, Russian units managed to take the settlements of Terny and Novosadove. The units defending them, 66th mech brigade and 111st separate territorial defence brigade, were ejected and pushed back from settlements.

▪️Despite AFU's efforts to break through to Svatove and Kreminna, Russian Armed Forces were able to slow down the onslaught and stabilize the front. The Russian command continues to transfer reserves to the front line, engineering brigades are erecting fortifications for defence.

Rybar makes an interesting observation based on yesterday's results. Their analysis shows that the key targets were TPPs and substations with a voltage level of 330kV.

"At the same time, not a single strike was launched against 750kV facilities, nuclear or hydroelectric power plants".

This clearly demonstrates that the raid was not aimed at total destruction of Ukraine's unified energy system, but at causing limited damage to it".

However, it was enough for Ukraine to stop exporting electricity to the EU.

However, such attacks would need to continue in order to affect the combat effectiveness of the AFU and disrupt military logistics.

«Did the United States provoke the Russian invasion of Ukraine so that it could trigger the massive transfer of wealth from Europe to the United States and also caused the de-industrialization of the continent?»

— Of course, those are obvious benefits for the US, although it looks like American people don’t see any fruits of this transfer of wealth and increased markets for US products (including natural gas). Looks like most of the profits just end in pockets of those who are already rich.

We don’t know what did the U.S.A. do to provoke Russian invasion of Ukraine. Yes, they were among those who started this conflict back in 2014 by supporting street rebels against legitimate government. Yes, they kept supporting Ukrainian government and turning eyes away from all their controversial actions even without any public or private reprimands.

We can only guess what was the final straw that made Putin give the order. Atrocities in Donbass have continued for 8 years and he had all time in the world to intervene earlier. So while this was the official reason and it was a good and valid reason, the actual reason for choosing this specific time and method of intervention must indeed like somewhere else. Maybe it was ignorance towards Russian demands of NATO containment.

Maybe it was about Zelensky’s speech in Munich where he mentioned a possibility of getting nuclear weapons for Ukraine. Maybe it was some covert secret related to U.S. biological weapon labs in Ukraine, which are still not explained.

We can’t be sure that the U.S. did provoke the special operation of Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, but we can be sure that the U.S. did all they could to extend the conflict and inflict maximum damage to Russia without actually becoming a side of the conflict. We can be sure that Ukraine has NATO weapons and NATO military advisors and well, they wouldn’t be there without approval of US.

U.S. views about ending this conflict are quite intriguing. Even if their media screams otherwise, the decision makers surely know that there are no chances for Russian defeat without direct NATO intervention and such intervention would result in new World War.

They know that they need to weaken Europe as potential competitor, but they don’t need to to destroy it because it must stay as market for their products and resources. There must be some point when they will say “enough” to their puppets.

The question is, when will this point come. American people are already questioning continued weapon supplies to Ukraine and excessful attention to the issue in times of numerous domestic problems. In fact, most Americans wouldn’t be able to show Ukraine on the map and this conflict doesn’t touch them personally despite all media attempts to incite their emotions.

They are as indifferent about Ukraine as they were about Iraq, Afghanistan and millions other conflicts with U.S. involvement. As long as it doesn’t touch them personally, they don’t care.

They care more about increasing gas prices than about anything that is happening in the Eastern Hemisphere. Most Americans don’t bother to look deeper into roots and specifics this conflict simply because they are not interested.

They just repeat what they see on mainstream channels and it’s not because they are all stupid but because they are not interested. The Ukrainian conflict is as irrelevant for American masses as some conflict in Myanmar would be irrelevant for Russian masses.

Short interview I did on RT the other day, noting that 1 day in Ukraine, where 10 people died (some of whom it is alleged died of Ukraine's air defense malfunctioning), is a normal day in the Donbass, giving the example of how Ukrainian shelling if central Donetsk on September 19 alone killed 16 civilians, and 26 civilians killed by Ukrainian shelling between September 17-22. President Putin was correct when he spoke of Ukrainian terrorism.

...also, let's not forget Ukraine's systematic attacks on water & electricity infrastructure...
